At work computers are a necessity. But at work different people are not just well acquainted with computers. Like my boss, she is very smart but very old fashion in doing her crafts (work). She's 40 yrs of age, not too old but she not really interested in learning more about computer stuff or how computer can do her job easily.
Can you guys help me. How can i tell her that she should be open in practicing using computers? Its tiring to patch her computer work up. Should i really tell straight to her face. Or should i be more politely say it and wait for her to correct herself?

We all know that time is money... If you see her doing a task that you can do a lot faster on the computer, make the suggestion and show her how quickly she can do it on the computer. Give her the keyboard and mouse, and guide her through it. She'll more easily respond when it's her doing it rather than you showing her.

Hello, this is a great idea. But do you think its not gonna offend her if i teach her? I'm really concern in the fact that i could offend her.Because she is good to me.

Well, I wouldn't know if she'd take offence or not... However, if she's generally a nice and easy-going person, I'm sure she'd appreciate time-saving suggestions. Maybe there's a tedious and labourious task that she repeats all the time which you can save a lot of time on... Think of it this way - maybe she wants to be more efficient using a computer, but does not know how to. Just don't force the computer on to her, make a friendly suggestion that there's a time-saving way to do the task on a computer and offer to show her how. But, if she takes your offer, give her the controls and guide her.

try teaching her yourself and always whenever you meet her everyday tell her how smooth the work would be if she used computers. always inform her about the benefits of using computers and tell her that it is too tiring to patch her computer work herself. Keep on repeating these things it will yeild good results.

Hey,
Just tell her that she can get things done really quickly, and even neater. Instead of writing out a letter by hand, it could be done much neater and probably 5 times as fast. Hope this helps, make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!
