Arches National Park is small and unique. Grand Canyon is awesome and a must see. Grand Tetons is very rugged, Yellowstone is alright, many wildlife, but scenery is just ok. Glacier is pretty too, very serene. Try going on Amtrak to go thru Glacier National Park. For that matter, most of the Park is worth a trip.

We have made it our mission to visit every national park and national historic site. We even have the little stamp book the national park service provides. We love putting all the little stamps in it. I would have to say that my favorite national park so far is Yellowstone National Park. It was just amazing. It has waterfalls, hot springs, and geysers. I wish we had spent more time there. It was truly beautiful. I want to go back soon!

I'm with you on that one! Smokey Mountain National park is my absolute favorite of all that I've been to. I could stay there forever lol. I love the view looking out seeing such things as Looking Glass Mountain, etc. When I was first married our honeymoon was following the Southernmost part of the Appalachians. We camped & hiked the whole way through up until we got to New York state. Very beautiful in late spring too when all the rhotodendrons are in bloom. It looks just like a forest from a storybook!

Sadly I have not been to very many of them. Just Starved Rock National park which was really pretty, and the Smokey Mountain National Park that you mentioned. I have to give it to the Smokey Mountains though. They are so amazingly beautiful. The views are fantastic, and it is pretty just to drive thru.

i have been in the national park of Kent, UK, The story of Winnie the Pooh was created there. When i was there i recalled the cute bear's story and it's friends. The kentish view was fantastic and georgeous. From the top of the park you can have a good picture of typical english country view. I also have been in seven sister's park, now it's a part of national park of uk. The beach head is really impressive. The blue sea and white cliff made me feeling in dream. I wish i can visit yellow stone one day. I watched a program about it, really impressing.

I think mine is Grand Canyon National Park. The main reason that I feel this way is that most of the other ones I've been to are close to home so the terrain is very similar to what I am used to here. Grand Canyon is just completely different. But that's not to take away from the fact that the other ones are beautiful as well. I also love Mammoth Cave and the Smokies.
