Who is spiritually correct?

One is the person, who doesn't feel any important to pray any god. But he is the one who has the very high compassion over all the living beings around. The one who even don't kill the mosquito that bite his hand, just because he know the importance of life for all beings.
And the other one, who is very much religious and always dedicated to god. And still he looses his temper shortly and commits the killings forgetting his commandment from the god? How logical is it for him to just ask the god for forgiveness and be happy that he is saved?
Now you may want to give the simple answer that one must have both the qualities, that he should also refrain from killing and he should pray to god too. This could have been the good answer, but I am considering the two different person with the qualities mentioned above.

I prefer the first person mentioned. She understands human is not separate from nature and is not a superior life form. I think the one dedicated to god is a hypocrite, and should not be praised.

Yes, ladybug magic, I have always supported such kind of person than the religious persons who don't really understand the feelings of other creatures. And I have been of that type. I don't need any god to direct my life towards compassion whom I even doubt that he exists or not. I have been opposed many times in the discussions for this statement. That's why I wanted to start up the discussion...

I thank you for starting this discussion. It gets one thinking, and surely helps some points I have made in other threads.

If you are killing then it's clear that you do not understand what you are doing. God will show you in time so that you will see. You can pray all you want but God loves all His children. You will know what you choose to do. This is not punishment but understanding. You are to become a well educated child of God! As for the soul who does not kill, they already understand that lesson. God hears everything we say so believing or communicating isn't really that important. Deep down, we all know God. This child will also grow in knowledge. All knowledge leads to God so worry not. A day will come for that as well. God will love both children unconditionally no matter how man may judge them.

Hello bird123!!!
Yes, you are right. "If you are killing then its clear that you do not understand what you are doing." Well there was a time, when I was a kid, when I used to kill lot of insects like flies, ants, mosquitoes etc. That time I couldn't really understand why killing is bad. My grandmother used to tell me, we should never kill anything. But I used to do it. Sometimes, she used to threaten me, that if I kill that insect then you will be the insect in next life and that insect will be in your place as a human being and you will be killed similarly. That was threatening, I had thought a little bit of it that time, but I still I had made some killings. Because there was no realization.
And now the things are different. I can't even think of killing anything. Because I have learned to keep myself in the position of those innocent creatures before doing such things. I was understanding suffering with time. Now I don't know what is it that taught me this thing. Is that god or not, I don't know. And it is not really necessary to me.
You are right, deep inside anyone there is god in all of us. And for that I don't think I need any temple, any church, at all. I can still search that god in myself. I know your definition of god will totally vary with me because I don't really believe that we are god's children, he loves us all...
Thanks for your nice response...Happy mylotting...

If there is God He(if God is male)must bless that person who has kind feelings for all living beings. The person who prays to God but cruel in reality that person is not religious. That person is hypocrite.

If I were to believe in God, I would want to believe in one that puts priority in your actions, and not what you say. I would want to believe in one that says, "I see you are an atheist, and yet you were a good person, and I shall accept you." Because I truly believe that there are a lot of athiests that make better Christians than half the believers out there.
If God exists, he would be too smart to fall for ploys. Saying one is a Christian and praying for forgiveness does not make one a Christian.

Nice response Improbability. I liked it. That makes the some sort of good definition of god than the present famous or popular description of God. Thanks for your response...
