Do you think CREDIT CARDS ARE SAFE?

Hi
I know we can take of lot of good advantage of credits by using it in stores,online shopping but how safe it is and what are the dis-advantage because a credit is valid all over the world..How can we trust each customer on net who uses credit cards? What are your opinion about the same.

Doing any purchase on-line can be risky.
That's the reason I make sure that any company I deal with for on-line purchases is legit.
Then, I get there phone number and contact them with it to make my purchase.
I think we all need to be aware that their are MANY scams on-line and be leery of putting any personal info anywhere on the net.
