when you go to the beach? or you jsut put on onelayer and that's it for the day oin the beach? I have experienced one before that I only put on once before I swam, I didn't put on anymore layers after then I got sunburnt. I think it is true that even though it is waterproof, we still need to keep putting on after a while especially going into the water. What about you?

Hi mermaidivy, when I go to the beach, late in the day so the sun is not too strong, I like to shower first then put sun block on everywhere before I go. Whilst on the beach I'm always under the shade of a sun umberela and don't tend to reapply it after a swim except for my feet which I know will start to burn without it being reapplied. Although I have fair skin I never burn now as I'm so careful, but remember well getting caught out one day three years ago on what appeared to be not a too hot day. I was out in a fishing boat and it caught the top of my back and I ended up looking like a tourist with a bright red bit.

Long before I never did. But nowadays I have to and we must due to excessive heat of the sun. Too much exposure of Ultra violet rays causes cancer. Yes it will do because as we all know some portion of our ozone layer has destroyed already by what we have done itself...

we went to the beach on saturday and even though i put lotion on my arms and shoulders i still got sunburnt. the sun these days seems to be a lot stronger than it used to be so i think its in everyones best interest to keep on putting sunscreen every couple of of hours.

Although I don't get sunburnt easy but I still tend to put on lotion regularly on the beach.

I have very pale skin, so anytime i am going to be out in the sun for more then 15 or 20 minutes, i try to always remember to apply my sunblock. I burn very easily, and to top it off, if i do get a burn? i peel, the fade back to my original skine tone, i don't gain any tan coloring at all, so it is really just a painful experience for me. I try to do my best about remembering to re-apply every half hour to 45 minutes or so. Though very rarely am i outdoors in the sun for longer periods of time.

I always make sure to put sunblock on my kids like every 1 1/2 or so when swimming. Especially if you have really light skin that's prone to burning. I don't think that "waterproof" stuff is really all that waterproof!
