Are any of you in a band?

No I am not in a band but my best friend play an instrument but not in a band he plays the piano and one of the genres that he plays is hiphop.

I play drums or bass or keyboard. Now I don't have a permanent band. I often join the band in a cafe, present songs that groove by guests, or at the request of guests. So, there is no genre.

I have played in a band in the past, but that was more than 10 years ago. I was playing the keyboard, and I liked that. I have also played the piano, but I prefer playing the keyboard. We played a mixure of different genres: Rock, pop and some old Danish songs from the 60's. Some of the other band members were from abroad. We had a guy from Russia and another guy from Finland. The Finnish guy used to play the guitar, but sometimes he sang some songs in Finnish. It was fun, I miss those days

I am in a band at the moment. Me and guys play just for fun, we don't attempt any big performances. One reason is that we have written only one song so far, the other ones we play are covers of Red Hot Chili Peppers or Green Day or some other altern. rock bands'. I play bass and do backing vocals, sometimes I sing some songs by myself too.

I have been a musician all my life playing Bass as my main instrument. I am a freelance now coz I dont want to be tied up in a band where you have to work and travel even though you dont feel like working. When I was younger, I was in a rock band and as age catching up, I like Jazz, Fusion and my idol is Stanley Clarke, Marcus Miller, Jaco Pastorius just to name some.
