I'ma be honest. I'm 5'8 and when i entered into the military before leaving for basic training, i weighed 170 lbs. This was in Aug 2006. By Feb of 2007 when i returned home from basic and AIT I weighed 180 lbs. By the time i married in may 2007 i was 190. Between Feb 2007 and after my wedding, i had gained 30 lbs. Crazy huh? Well it doesnt end there. By March of 2009 before i found out i was pregnant, i weighed 264 lbs. What happened? You have time? I can make all the excuses i want but there isnt one. As far as working out and eating right trying to lose weight. I've done it numerous times and after a while i just quit. I feel as if i gained so much weight its near impossible to get down to the size i want again. How can you motivate yourself? Anyone have any suggestions? I'm pregnant right now but after i have my child in November i want to get started on working out and get my weight back down to a desired size. I would like to lose 135 lbs. My desired weight is 125, model size. I know its too skinny but i hope one day i can shop in the same stores with my friends.

I know exactly how you feel.I have so much weight I need to lose.I have went on every diet under the sun. They worked but I just couldn't stick with it.I would like to lose 100 lbs myself.I gained a lot of weight when I got pregnant with my little boy but its sad because he is 5 1/2 years old lol.I get really discouraged because I am tired of being the fat girl. You feel like everyone is starring at you when you walk in a room.I am going to start some kind of diet really soon.I like weight watchers but the weight just slowly comes off and some weeks I didn't lose a thing. That can be really discouraging!I know its not going to fall off but I would like to lose at least 2 lbs a week.So I am searching. If your a fan of the biggest loser right now I think they're running a free trial offer.I think its like for seven days or something.Just know that you can do it and your not alone .I will be your diet buddy after you have your little one if you want.We can encourage each other lol.

I must say that I once was 130 and wearing a size 9/10 but as years went by I gained weight and moved all the way up to 230lbs for four years I desired to lose weight but everytime it came for me to make a decision I choose to eat the things that I wanted instead of choosing to discipline myself.. I can say March.26,2009 I made my mind up to stop making excusing and do something about my weight for me and not to please anyone but myself and for my health of course. Well I started my journey like I stated March. 26, 2009 five days before my birthday and we are here in August and I have lost 30pounds I weight 200 even though I still have some more to go to get to my ideal weight I feel so much better and feel that I have accomplish something BIG that I truly desire.. I just have one advice to the both of you ladies. Make this thing up in your mind and fight to stay FOCUS. Dont get off track FIGHT!!! You can lose that 2pounds a week DISCIPLINE is the key, and changing your mind set! The mind is what tells the body what to do. If you can captivate your mind you will meet your desired goal in no time. Now I might have lost more then 30 pounds and I say that cause I haven't got back on the scale and a couple of clothes that we fitting me real good are fitting me more loose so I mean it's all up to you.. Hope something I've said encourage you to meet your goals : )

Its amazing that im not alone. I mean this is the first time in my life ever being this big. I've never been like this. I've been married to my husband for two years and although he says he can accept my weight, in the back of his mind i doubt he does. I mean, when he met me i was a perfect size and i just let myself go. Its so sad and embarrassing. The day i do start working out again, i'm not only doing it for myself first, id like to get the body back my husband hadnt seen since 2004 or better.

Well, if it was so easy doing that, then most would not have problems attaining the weight they want. The saddest thing is, it's easy when we do it when we're younger but once we get to the point where we don't watch our weight, it just creeps on us then we realize we're big!
I think it entails a lot of discipline to decrease your weight, but a lot more discipline to maintain that weight.

Thats just it, losing the weight and how you do it is not the problem. Its disciplining yourself while working at it and once you reach your goal, keeping it off.
