Cats or Dogs for Pet? What do you prefer?

I prefer dogs to cats thats for sure. Although, cats can be pretty easy to take care of. Fish are the easiest!

I love dogs. I love cats too but it is hard to choose. Dogs look different. Cats look the same. I'm not sure which one I like better.

I have 2 dogs at this time. I use to live on a farm and had just about every animal u can think of including Guieny Hens. My 2 dogs luv cats. My son used to live downstairs with his 4-5 cats. They would run upstairs to sleep with our dogs. The type of cats that I had, Himalayn, Siamese plus many mix breed cats. Right now though I would have to say dogs. REMEMBER ALWAYS LUV/CARE FOR YOUR DOG/ PET, THEY WILL ALWAYS LUV U..

i love dogs..though we dont have one at home because my dad gets terrified everytime we mention it..lol but still i love dogs..i want to get a pet dog as soon as i get my own place..a nice fluffy one with lots of fur which i can cuddle all the time..yes i think that definitely would be my ideal pet no doubt.

I definitely prefer dogs over cats. In my opinion, dogs have so much more personality than cats. Also, in some cases dogs listen to instruction better than cats. Of course this can't be said for all dogs. I used to have a little Jack Russell Terrier that didn't listen to any instruction...lol. I have a Yellow Lab now that is so sweet and listens all the time.

I like dogs they are man's best friend,also i like turtles and fish too no cats they like to climb on furniture and curtains.

Cats, as I'm told, are much smarter than dogs, however cats are a lot more work than dogs. Personally, I prefer a dog. After all, a dog is a mans best friend. Overall though, I wouldn't mind either one as long as they are reasonably friendly and loving.

We have three dogs and three cats. Love them all. Don't want to choose which ones I prefer. I think cats are easier to take care of. You can leave them for the weekend and don't need to worry about them. Dogs need a lot more care, as they need to go outside several times a day. They are all loveable in their own ways. Last night my cat, Bonnie, snuggled up and slept with me. She is very sweet. We also used to have a guinea pig and birds. They are all wonderful.

I prefer raising a dog.It is widely acknowledged that dogs are human's best companions.While I don't like cats for their big green eyes ,besides "kitty".Dogs may cost a fortune.But I am willing to do that.There's another prime reason is that my mum is afraid of cats.Once she has thrown my toy(the white cat)out of the window!You see,how can I love cats?

dog for me, i used to have a persian cat but cant take the smell of that poop its more foul than dogs poop, its not advisable if you have this small space like studio type apartment and that persian cat i have is not sweet, everytime i call her she just look at me and thats all, not gonna get closer. but if shes hungry thats the time she comes to me and ask for food, thats all. unlike those dogs i have, very playfull and responsive. and everytime i got home they're so excited to see me.

i personally prefer dogs to cats because dogs are more friendly, and more obedient

I am a cat person ... I like to have indoor cats more than outdoor. They just speak to me more than dogs do. Although I am getting more used to dogs too now I prefer cats.

I have three dogs and one of them just had puppies.I would actually rather have a cat but we live really close to the main highway.I would be afraid it would get out and get run over.

I prefer to have a dog, even tho right now my dog has more energy that I have. LOL I am hoping tho once he turns two he might not want to be playing 24/7 but who knows right?

to be honest, neither. haha. i just can't stand pets, especially when i am the one assigned to look after them, such as feeding or taking a bath. lol

My first pet was a turtoise, it was brought by my mother. But one day, it suddenly disappeared, and never comes out again XD. The second one was a rabbit, it was because my cousin brought one, and my mother love it very much, so she decided to buy one too. After that, my father bought two dogs back to home seperately. I had six hamster before I came to Australia. I can't tell what kind of animal I mostly like, but I can say I love dogs, hamsters and rabbits most. If I have change to raise an animal again, I think I will buy my own rabbit next time :D Happy myLotting

Wow. That is nice of u to have lots of pets. I do have a dog and Lex is already 12 yrs. old. A very intelligent dog. I also have few fishes which my niece like a lot. I am not in favor of cats much because they might give allergies inside home.

I have a pet dog and 3 pet cats in our house, and I really love taking care of them. I am the one give them food and gave them a bath . But I think i prefer cats to be a pet rather than a dog. A cats never smell's that bad even if they have not taken a bath for a long time. And cats are very sweet animals, my cats always rubs their body to my feet just to catch my attention .
