Today, I was talking to my friend and she told me someone I go to school with has a myspace. With that, anyone can see his pictures. He posted naked pictures of himself. So, this person printed out the pictures and hang them up outside his job and he was fired. Do you think when a picture is posted on the internet for the world to see people have the right to do with it as they please? Or do you think people don't have a right to share internet pictures?

Hey,
Yea that is why when I put pictures on my MySpace profile, I just only let my friends to actually view my profile. So someone else that isn't my friend, can't view my profile, because it is on private, that is what I do. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!

Just becuse it might be our right to do something dosent always mean we should especially if doing it means destroying someones life or hurting someone, and the in the situation you speak of in your post, I think we as human beings should learn to have some compassion for others and dont print things and display things that will hurt people or get someone fired.
With that said, I also think we should use better judgment when posting live personal photos becuse we should remember that there are a lot of people out there who get a thrill out of massing up someones life, so we have to be more responsible and careful about the kind of pictures we upload and post online personally I would never post inappropriate pictures of myself and strongly recommend the no one else dose ether, becuse you never know what can happen.

I think that you have to be careful about what you post on the internet. I do believe that people have the right to download whatever they find on the internet. Why not, it's on their computer, but I don't think your friend was too smart by putting that picture for the world to see. Next time tell your friend to stop and think next time about his future.

Well, for me, I suggest that we'd better not post naked pictures or such kind of imagines on the internet. Once you posted them on the internet, there is no law to stop people from diong with them as they please. People might have the right to share the pictures from internet and we always do like that, but they shouldn't hang them up for bad perpose.

Well, first off I'd say your friend wasn't too bright to post naked pics of himself up over the internet...somethings are better kept private. It was also pretty mean of the other person to print them and hang them up at his job...that's just spiteful. Legally I don't think you can stop someone from printing a public picture and using it, morally most ppl have know better than to do something like that. Ppl do need to remember that once you post something on the internet, unless you keep it for private viewing only, it could fall into the wrong hands.

I don't think it is a good idea to post n a k e d pictures of ourselves on the internet. At least it is not my characters to put those pictures on my profile. People on the website can just copy it and post it everywhere on the other website. I think it is fine for those people to share their pictures as long as they are prepared to see it wherever else later in the future.

It was really nasty of that person to print the pictures and hung them outside the office.
In my opinion when we consider this scenario, what should happen and what can happen are at the opposite ends of the spectrum.
Per me, when someone uploads his/her personal pictures others should not be using them without taking permission.
But do we live in an ideal world? Unfortunately no.
We all know that when we have our personal information or pictures out there on the internet, anyone who has access to them can use this stuff against us.It is a fact and its wise not to turn a blind eye to this.
That being said, I think it was wrong of that person to post the pictures. But then the guy who uploaded the pictures should have known that things can go wrong.

I think people should be sensitive enough to not take the pictures in the first place. They wouldnt like it if someone did that to them. Unfourtunatly, not all people think like this - and just do things for kicks because they think it will be funny!
Because of this, I think people shouldnt post any pictures on the internet that they dont want other people to see/take. I would never post any pictures of me naked on the internet! Guess maybe thats just me. But to me thats personal to me! I dont want others seeing it, and i certainly dont want some stranger to have pictures of me naked saved on their pc! If i wanted to post such images on a Myspace, I would set my profile to private so only friends could see them! People need to be careful on the internet, you get some creeps out there!

That is pathetic!! Well, I always abstain from posting my pictures on internet on any social networking sites as I myself have witnessed such crimes.
Some time ago, one of my friends created a fake profile of an innocent girl just for revenge and it stripped her image off!!
Such incidents lead you nowhere and spoil your image, and hence one should be careful while uploading pictures..

It is sometimes risky to show your personal pictures because others might used it against you for for other purposes like for fraudulent cases. Worst scenario if upon online exposure, your friends or relatives will see it, they might approach you thinking of negative things.

oh that was so disgusting, he has no right to do it but still it's the fault of the up loader, he/she should think for that many times before uploading it.. and with naked ones.. he is doing the wrong thing also and that's why this guy printed it and scattered it everywhere.. ttssskk..!! that's the big problem now for having a social and hi-tech things and minds...

I think when someone posts pictures of their self they should use a little bit of common sense. So many things that can be seen by so many people and all the things I've been hearing about employers looking up employees web pages online and people losing jobs because of things they post is scarey enough.....if someone is going to post naked pictures of their self, they should use at least make sure only certain people can see them, not the public or their whole list of friends.....you never know who could be lurking around to see what you've been up to. Scarey though.

I think you need to use your own discretion when deciding whether it is okay to post a particular picture on the internet. on the other hand, those who do not own the rights to that picture need to practice the same level of discretion on how they utilize it. just to think of it this way, "what if it were your picture used in that same manner?" so, i guess we should be more cautious on the photos that we upload on the internet since it can be easily reproduced by others.

its up to someone if he/she would like to put his/her own picture...but once it is alarming and scandalous it shouls be taken away like what you said...someone posted a naked picture!
