Facebook Addiction

I've noticed that lately, Facebook has become almost an addiction, somewhat like the Myspace addiction that many people used to share years ago. This addiction is one that I, at fault, have. My homepage is set to facebook, my phone has a constantly checked facebook application. Everywhere I look, Facebook seems to devour some facet of my life and time. Has anyone else ever experienced this in their lives, to a point where it seems to become "addictive?" Have you done anything to remedy it, or just given in and simply fed the craving? I don't mean simply checking up on it or posting once a day, but spending... as much as a few hours a day.

I have a Facebook account but I only go over there a couple of times per day. If I spend any considerable amount of time on a social site it's mylot
Judging from all the silly stuff that my friends post over there, you are not alone, some of them are terribly addicted, mostly to the games

That's definitely true to me that i will spend much time in mylot and other sites than playing at facebook and stay with for hours, because i am not a game addict like that of farmtown that is popular in facebook. It is also good to be addictive but try to control in over spending time playing and get nothing, After all its our choice how we will use our time if we are in the computer.

Yeah that seems to be true in my case too. My facebook is open at this very moment and just wants to see what is happening with my friends there. Another thing that attracted me there is the online games that I think got me hooked more in that site.

i guess many are and as much as i hate to admit it (i only visit facebook to interact with my network of friends), i find that it is impossible for me to open my computer and go to the internet without checking my facebook. so, it does have become part of my internet habits as well.
