Last Sunday, Kris mentioned that she felt the sincerity of the Marcoses when they condoled with them. It is a common fact that these two families are the prominent names (AQUINO-MARCOS) in the political arena. A lot of things had happened then, Marcos administration was responsible for the incarceration of Senator Aquino.
Awhile back, I saw on TV that they (Bongbong and wife and Imee Marcos) visited the wake of Former President Aquino. It was for a good gesture on their part. Could this be a sign of REAL RECONCILIATION?

I read the NewPaper this morning, and there was a portion there that the Marcos family want reconciliation with the Aquinos but Noynoy refuses to do so. am not sure, but for me, it's not a good idea either if they even showed up. they should just wait for the Aquino's to really reconsider..

Not really real reconciliation because the Marcoses are just being casual about it and i guess it's the right thing to do. Problem is, the children of Tita Cory just made it political. I know they've been through hell with the Marcoses but i guess this isn't the right time to be prejudice especially when the Marcoses just want to pay respect to the former president. They're overreacting to the Marcoses' visit. Cory's children themselves are putting political color and now even GMA is not welcome. If Cory can just say something, she'd scold her children.

If this will happen, this will be the talk of the town and other important news will be ignored.
Anyway, it's hard to judge whether the Marcoses are sincere or not. But for sure, it will prove that Filipinos are always willing to forgive. After all, the Marcoses had their share of shame and fame.
I just hope that both parties are really sincere with each other in forgiving.

All I could say their are both in the white and red corner. I do not know really what is their real motives behind these changes. i hope this are not all for the show. I could not say that is is a true reconciliation behind their smiles and gestures, I could feel they have both hidden agendas and for good image to the people. With the competition between the two families in politics. They could not just sincerely forgives each other. They still have their own doubts, i bet..they both accuse each others as the Philippines history could attest to that situation is very uncompromising. maybe negotiation but not forgetting all of this in a flash this is tantamount to betrayal of the people trust. People are really in the midst and could not really identifies which side are right or not. The sinner, the loser and the winner. For, me the decision lies in the heart of the people. The Filipino people are in full gratitude to Pres. Corazon C.Aquino is an instrument to the restoration of democracy in our nation and also responsible to abolish dictatorship. Politics just like show business is full of controversy, all of them are greedy for publicity.

Whatever we see now, the outpouring of the people's love for President Cory Aquino, it was given because she did everything that was expected of a President. People reacted accordingly to someone of integrity and it speaks very well or very highly of President Aquino.
Personally, I feel that their (Marcoses) gesture was sincere. It may not totally heal the wounds inflicted on the Aquinos, but who knows, this could be a good step toward reconciliation of the two families.

Well, i still smell something fishy. This is just my opinion so respect what I have to say. I think that the Marcoses would really like to extend their lament to the Aquinos but it may always look negatively amongst anti-Marcoses like myself. I think that they just showed up for political advantages. Even if i really didn't witness on what had happened during Marcos' time, I'd say that it's really not fair enough for the Filipinos to be ruled by a dictator.
