Tomorrow, GMA canceled her other travel plans to give way to pay respect to the wake of former president Cory Aquino.
It is known that the younger Aquinos is not really in good terms with GMA, but they will treat GMA nice if the latter will come.
As a current president, GMA should visit the wake of a former whoever he is. But with this case, do you think it's proper for GMA to visit the wake of Cory?
No hurting words, please.

I Think President GMA should go to the former president's wake regardless of Politics, just for the sake of respecting and recognizing the efforts of the former president she should attend the wake..besides, its the last day, and this day the former president will be laid to her final rest so Pres. GMA should attend, even if it cost intrigues, at least she visited the wake (many people would appreciate it even if she is not expected there, I guess)..

IN this case here, there no right or wrong, proper or inproper.. After all, he's the president now, and that he should pay his respects to an ex president of philippines.. NO matter how younger Aquinos are not in good terms with him, he's still the president after all, and that they should give him some respect as well..

why did you put no hurting words? hahahahaha.
I think its okay to pay respect to Tita Cory. IF the intention is pure why not welcome her. But according to Aquino family they don't expect anymore. I think for them its okay if PGMA will be there or not.

Kris and other daughters of Tita Cory preferred not to comment when asked about this. With those gestures of the daughters alone, I think Ate Glo should think otherwise. The family is still in mourning and they still have the issue of the security personnel that was recalled. It may not give positive result if in this time of the crisis, an enemy will come. She can try to send flowers or send somebody on her behalf. But her present is not welcome, as I look at it. She can try to reconcile, after 40 days, or even after 2010.

Hello Fatherblogger!
In my opinion, yes, President GMA should visit Cory's wake. President GMA stands as the mother of the nation, and Cory was once a mother too... Although to some, President GMA is not so well loved by our fellowmen just like the love given to Cory, still it is decent for GMA to visit and show sincerety.
I believe in GMA. She has done so many wonderful and smart decisions for the country, despite the mistrusts thrown to her. She has always been a smart, tough, firm but kindhearted leader- servant. Visiting Cory's wake won't be a big difficult act for her, because I know she is humble, kindhearted person, and would definitely do so naturally and humbly.
