Does knowing how to speak english give you a better job?

they say that english is the international language. with the onset of globalization, it is important for everyone to know a common language and that they say is english. so...does speaking english land you better job in companies both local and international. what do you think?

I dont think so , important is that you know work and have experiance for what you are doing

yes i also agree. it is how you work and your experience.. plus your education may be a factor also

i think is very important to know english.. and it does help u a lot.. cause the programs, soft used on computer are made in english language, if u don't work with computers and u r an assistent for a international company.. u need to know english..cause everybody knows to speak it...and u can also aply for outside country jobs.. so it's good to know it.. even better to write it

yes i agree with you. knowing computers is a must in every job and since most of them are in english, it is good to speak it

Yes, I think you're right, now English is the universal working language. If you want to have a good job, or to work with an international company, you must know English very well.

i guess....yes.it put forwards a good exp. on the person interveiwing u.this all has happened due to globalization.more and more MNC's are working almost evrywhere in the world...and the comon laun that all can understand is english....so knowing good eng. is an added advantage.
