Will ciao pay the due amount?

India

Hello Everyone. I hope everyone remembers the site, i am talking about. this site used to be very famous and promising. It started with paying a dollar per review, then restricted paying only for ratings. And finally it vanished, yet again with a promise that members will be paid with the remaining balance by the mid of august. I just wonder, if the site will really pay. Now, it has disappeared, it may not pay its members who have been loyal to the site. What do you expect? Do u expect the site to pay you the remaining balance? I had around 13.5$ balance on the site when it stopped functioning. How much balance did u have?

I had $2 on that site I think... it has been a while since it closed, but I really hope they do pay out. I hope even more that they pay out amount under $5 . It's a shame that they closed it down (or 'merged', did they say?), it was a good site.

Oh okay! I understood the other way. By the way, I am looking for referrals under me on one site for which i am willing to pay 3$. But the only requirement is that you need to have a credit card bcoz registration will require you to complete an offer.

Closed. When did it close? I didn't use it often but you'd think they would infrom all members of any changes. I'm going to check it out now, although I'd be surprised if I had over £1

Yep, panic over. It's the US site that's closed not the UK one. Rather sadly I've got the grand total of 0.00 in my account. How sad is that? I find it a rather hard site to get into. There's no friendliness at all and your reviews are ripped a part for the slightest thing. Sites like this and Dooyoo and easy to use and haved friendly and helpfull members which make you want to keep on going.

I had around $1 in my balance when Ciao stopped the Indians' account. I had got them a mail requesting my balance when I had read that they are paying the dues. That was more than two months ago. But to this day, there's nothing that I can boast of. I think, our, at least, my money is gone. And so are the reviews in it. There is no guarantee that the reviews will be handed over to us. What do you think?

Well, they passed a communication 15 days before closing that the site would be non-functional from 1st of July. So i copied all my reviews at that time. Moreover, they also promised that they would pay everyone who cannnot access the site. But lets just hope that they do so. By the way, dont get surprised if i would say that i am also an Indian. but somehow i managed to work on ciao regularly.

Hi vipulchawla, I was paid once ( 28+dollars) after the site began showing signs of closing down, and, that without my asking them. After that I was not active since Indians were denied access. If at all there was any amount pending I am sure it was too little probably not reaching the payout amount. All in all I feel that they were very decent...Now one cannot hope for any payment since the site is no more there having merged with ciao.co.uk...

Ciao is planning to pay all the dues to all members, and from now onwards only those who have bank accounts in UK can get paid. That means, people from other countries can't get paid from now on. CIAO says, one need not request their dues, as they will pay it by mid-August 2009. You can check yourself here: [ciao.co.uk/specials/ciao_com] Add http and www both before the url address Hope this helps you and you might be delighted to get your due payment! Happy mylotting!

Well. you are just informing me, what ciao has already informed us. My question was, Do u really expect them to pay the dues? Anyway, hey if u remember, i had given u one offer. Now u may not need to enter your credit card details. U just need to have a verified paypal account. Send me a message, if u r still interested?

I had $ 35 when this site stopped functioning. I had taken so many surveys and had been happy earning the amount until the site vanished. I hope somebody takes responsibility and pays the amount due to every one of its patrons.
