I love to walk if it is a short distance and if it is not sunny. I don't have a vehicle right now and hate bargaining with auto drivers (they always demand high price). I want to go for jogging in the morning, but I am very lazy to get up early.
Do you love to walk?
Do you walk daily?

I am sorry my friend. I like to walk whenever there is chance; I mean whenever I am not in a hurry. I also walk very fast even if it is in road or in office. Somtimes my friends make fun of me. They say I walk as if somebody had an accident and I am going to rescue them. Thanks for the response.

I am sorry my friend. I also used to walk a lto when I was a student. I used to walk from my home to the bus station. The public transport used to take me to the city where my school is sited. I used to walk from that bus station to my shcool.
I also walked the way back to home. So, it was almost half an hour one way and half an hour the other way - total one hour of walking. That was a good exercise for me. On weekends I used to walk to church that is another half an hour way a day. Thanks for the response.

When I was studying I walk everyday no matter how far I still walk to save fare. Now a seldom walk because I not often go outside. Walking is a good exercise but I'm too lazy to walk around in our place. I'm do some exercise in the comfort of our house. I stops walking long distance because I had a surgery in my right foot sometimes it hurts when I walk too long.

Hi daliaj, I like walking more than to ride a bike or an auto. Of course for short distance only. I dislike walking under the scorching sun as well. I hope that having more walking would exercise my legs as well as to help to promote the blood circulation of my body
I usually would have an evening stroll daily at the nearby neighborhood. After walking for 20 minutes or so I would jog for another 15 minutes. I feel relaxed and comfortable after sweating a lot
Happy posting

It is nice to hear that you are able to walk and jog atleast for sometime daily. That is very important and it is a very good excercise. Yes, the sweating we get after jogging or exercising will give a very good relaxing feeling. I have experienced it a lot of times. Thanks for the response.

I walk when it is not too warm. Like every morning and evening. If I buy at the neighbor store or visit my cousin who lives one block from my homes. I do it like an exercises and every morning to receive the healthful benefits of sunshine..

Yes, it is very healty to walk in the morning. It will keep you refreshed and your mind relaxed throughout the day. I want to do that but I am lazy to get up in the morning keep snoozing the alarm.
I don't have any relatives or friends staying nearby. I stay in a hostel and they take care of my food. So, I don't want to walk to buy gorceries for me. Sometiems I get some candies or choclate from out. There is a shop just opposite to my hostel where I can get all of that. So, no walk at all.

Yes i have been walking all my life.. Now i walk out of compulsion, no money u see.. During diffcult times i have walked 20 kms when i didnt have money for bus tickets. This happend only 5-6 years back. Although my brothers go by their two wheelers, i prefer to go by bus or walk. Now walking is becoming a bit cumbersome. All the years of stress and strain i had endured by walking is now beginning to show. Although i am healthy otherwise, my knee joints cant take the torture of walking anymore. thx

I am sorry Prakah. I had a day in my life when I lost money for bus fare. I was on the way back from school after special coaching for a competitive exam. I was in fourth grade at that time. I lost the money and was very sad. Walking was the only option, but I begged for money to a lady I saw in the bus stand saying my condition. She gave me two rupees which was enough for my ticket. Thanks for the response.

I know that you are enjoying having and walk with our yongest son. I am sure he likes it too. My dad used to take me to the bus stop when I was in first standard. Later he found out that I know the way and I am able to make it; he stopped coming with me, but I liked his company and I missed it. Thanks for the response.

It seems you are exactly like me when it comes to walking. The problem is your bike. I don't have a bike. I tried to learn bike riding, but it is not easy to keep balance. I don't know cycling. I tried to learn it, but I couldn't. Now, I am poor due to recession. No money to pay for petrol. Thanks for the response.

I love to walk and if it is for a short distance i don't mind. But once upon a time when i had learnt to drive two-wheeler i used to take it even to the shop that was just outside the apartment compound!
Now i have my residence very close to my office and i love walking. It is also fun to watch the co-walkers and riders busy withtheir activities and gossips :)

Actually, when I am energetic I feel like walking in a short distance rather than taking a bus.I know that it is a good form of exercise and usually I will walk to a hill not far from my home in the morning. There I can breathe fresh air and make me refreshed.I really enjoy this kind of feeling.Recently, more and more people go for jogging in the morning.
However, when I tired after some work, especially during the end of the day,I don't want to walk even a short distance.I prefer to take a bus because I feel too tired to walk.
