what should be used in teaching in schools? will the students better understand the lesson if it is in their native tongue? or should the lesson be in english to help the student learn the language?

Well that depends on where you live. If in America (US) then it should be english, if in France then French, or what ever country it is should always be the primary language. unforunately I believe english should always be a second or 3rd language, and almost everyone in the world speaks a form of english.

yes i agree with that that it depends on where you are from. in our country, philippines, our government is pushing to use english as a medium of instruction in schools taking out our native language. they say this is to make the students more fluent and familiar with the english language. i think this is unfair for our mother tongue.
