Hi All,
I have both computer and laptops but i have never smashed it or hit it. I do get frustrated when it goes slow on some games or other things but never smashed it.

Oh yes, but not because it has any problems or it runs slow, mainly because the person at the other end has really annoyed me or ive read something thats got my back up. I usually just turn the laptop off and walk away as if i smashed it everytime i got annoyed i would have a new one each week :)

he he that's the way to control our anger.. I usually show my frustration on my poor keyboard often. I generally get upset if the system gets hang up but I am not now a days remembering that I am not provided any A/c to my poor desktop. Outside the home the temperatures are going as high as 39 degrees. so, it is my fault that I am puting the desktop in the extreme hot climate and still expecting too much from my desktop.. So, now on will follow your idea.. :)

That's great.I too love my computer but the anger which is uncontrollable we can't handle it.
But i need to develop some steps for managing anger effectively.

Yes I did feel like smashing but not computer but the keyword. It happened number of times to me when the PC hangs up, I do feel like throwing away but I show the frustration on the poor keyboard. Whatever, now I do not feel that much frustrated while operating PC, if PC hangs, then I just restart the computer after certain period of waiting.. The video link you have provided is not working properly.. There is no video..

personally i wouldn't try smash my computer....mainly cos i'd end up hurting myself in the end =D
but in my maths class my maths teacher always smashes and bangs his laptop because it keeps freezing lol

hmmm... nice topic. yes sometimes I really want to smash my PC when it hangs wen I am playinga game or when I am talking tomy friends. But the first urge is to bang the keyboard. I have done this on few occasions but luckily my keyboard has survived all my assaults :) . But yes I am learning to control my anger. Best way what I feel is to engage in something else for short time and le the PC recover. Like you can call somebody in the meantime to kill your anger.

Yes i have felt to smash my computer. Last year my computer got a virus. The virus started where it would only freeze the computer up. Every time it freeze i felt to break the monitor. I carried it to fix ,spending money, it came back and was alright for about a week before it started the same problem (everything was wipe from the system). I carried it to fix again. The process was repeated for a bout 2 more times before we found out that the virus has corrupted the hard drive. That cost more money to change and all that come out of my pocket a small child under 16 years. At that time i felt to throw the computer out the window.
So that is how i felt when that happen. To break it into tiny pieces.

My computer is fairly new, about 5 months and cost me over $2000! I absolutely hate it sometimes! I don't know why, but my old computer works much faster and doesn't turn off like this one. I had many issues with it and I'm thinking about getting checked out since I love this computer but sometimes irritates me.
