We generally have a tendancy to get angry on the poor machines. We bang things to make them work as we do with humans. But do you think thats a right way to deal with such problems. have you ever hit your Computer screen when it refuses to work normally?
I do it as I cant ressist from doing so. Do you do it too?

Well, thankfully the new one won't need to be beaten but maybe the old one just needed a better fan in it.

The only problem I've had with monitors is they've burned out over time so I don't think I've ever hit one. It wouldn't have helped. Besides, I love my electronics and wouldn't want to damage them. When I was a kid, though, my sister and I used to take turns beating on the remote control until it worked. That device had a rough time of it!

Yeah, it's best to respect the tech stuff but those remotes can handle a lot of abuse.

yes it actually does solve the problem many times for me too..
Before giving my computer for repairs I alwas try to get it working by giving it a blow on its face.
And BINGO it manytimes works ! :)

I haven,t hit my monitor, but i just recently busted a yard stick on my tower. Those yard sticks are so thin and easily broken. Next time I'm going to use the hammer and call it anger management! Linda

Oh man,
If you really bang your PC with hammer, your Pc will die. It will never work again. You will have to burry it in grave because of your Anger Management.

Ha ha, once then i learned my lesson. I can not do that to mine again. I have a flat screen and the first and last time i punched it, i thought it was stuck with the imprint where i hit it. Oh gawd, it took like a minute to recover. I was so scared. Yeah, now i just handle my anger for my computer in other ways... Happy myLotting!

Smart not to hit it. I respect my devices but I will scream at them which upsets the pets, poor babies.

From living to non living hitting and banging NEVER fixes things. Violence is NEVER the answer. If i had a problem my first reacting is usually cursing. That doesnt help either but it doesnt break things further. Anyone present would think i had torrets.

Hey,
No I have never actually hit my monitor, since the screen I have is on a laptop, so if I would hit the screen it might cause damage to my laptop. I wouldn't want an almost new laptop dying on me, just after the warranty has ended. Make sure you have a good day, Happy Lotting!!

Been known to BAD if it's a glass screen, less bad if it's a LCD.

hi, you make me laugh, friends see my avatar and laugh much!
my uncle's monitor is too old, we often hit his monitor hard," Bang!" the monitor displays out.
BTW, the icon of computer thread, somebody's head hit desk in the front of monitor should be changed to his head hit the monitor! haha.....

lol, i did.. i remember one time.. i was watching an auction item in eBay its 5mins before the auction end.. im waiting if someone will going to bid the amount im bidding on.. then all of a sudden my internet connection hungup.. then i restarted it again and of course i didnt win and its a branded item for auction in a cheaper price.. i was very upset that time that i drag my laptop till few of the keys loosen up.. thats the only time that i realize that i need my laptop more than the item. luckily it was also fixed so i never bother to check for auction item again...
