Do you think it would make a difference in tersm of hwo well he performs in his role? I understand it all to mean that many would not feel happy about him being the president - is that right?
But personally for you do you feel he IS a good president and would it make you feel any different about him? x

Sorry for my delayed response
I think it does affect how well he performs as President. Our founding Fathers wanted leaders that were not influenced by foreign interests. If someone has divided loyalties he won't be able to serve the nation as well.
Obama's father was a Kenyan citizen, and Obama spend much of his young growing up in other countries.
Personally I don't approve of his polices, but I did not approve of Bush either. However I try not to let that cloud my thinking regarding his eligibility. the Constitution needs to be upheld regardless of who is in office

Mr. Obama has sealed many records about his past up. Among them are:
-Educational Records (Ranging from kindergarten to Harvard Law School)
-His Passport
-His medical records
-His long form Birth Certificate
There are many other documents as well that are not released. As a result we don't know much about his past.
The Certificate of Live Birth he put on his website is not a replacement for a long form birth certificate. Things like the hospital of birth, attending physician, and other information that would help confirm his citizenship are missing and are only found on the long form birth certificate.
Our Constitution requires a President to be a natural born citizen. This is a higher requirement than just citizenship status. Our founding fathers wanted to prevent persons influenced by foreign interests from attaining the Presidency.
The courts have not defined natural born citizen vs. a citizen. One possible interpretation is that in order to be a natural born citizen, your parent must both be citizens. If that is the case, Mr. Obama is automatically not eligible because his father was not a US citizen.
The fact that Obama has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars in legal fees to fight the dozens of lawsuits related to this controversy instead of just ordering his records be released is troubling and making many Americans wonder if he is hiding something about his past, including, possibly, his citizenship status.

Why the hell do you guys even care about his history and such?
Its not like he is an idiot like Bush was, I do have a feeling that this fella knows what he is supposed to do, what he can do and what he will do. Unlike his predecessor.
But ofcourse if you are hungry for mad gossip and such - go ahead.

Sorry to see you have misinterpreted my discussion. This was not about Bush, it's about Obama.
Mr. Obama has most of the records about his past sealed. We don't even know which hospital he was born at.
I asked why he is doing this- he is stirring further speculation and debate. He could easily get this distraction out of the way but so far he has not.
