Newbies - Tips I learned from Mylot - Mylotters - Please post your expereience!!

Hi Dear Newbies,
Don't think I am here had a very lon run. A week before I too a newbie. But I have learnt a lot of things... I can say Mylot has great blog thing in it... Ok let com to the point. The things I learnt.
1) Mylot is place to learn and to get new friends and ofcoarse a great place to earn.
2) To earn, you need to have an active role here. Posting new discussions (which was not repeated). Please do a search with a keyword and then post discussions.
3) Comment on every response for your response.
4) Don't respond with a single line if you need to earn more. Post atleast 3-4 lines.
5) Give valid proof if needed for your response.
6) Earn more friends if you need a nice amount of response....
7) Be friendly to everyone and don't post unwanted referral links. ('Cause I too get some unwanted referral links in my discussions and I too posted one before... sorry about that.
)
8) And try to learn new things from every discussion.

Glad I was able to help you and once you begin to feel that you are no longer a 'new newbie' here then the FUN will start.
Try barging in on other dsicussions and commenting on responses that your friends have left too. That will be fun and will let them know you recognise them and then it will give them a chance to earn again by commenting back to you.
It's never ending and it's teamwork too!

Very helpful info. from your link,Thanks a bunch also to the original poster in your link.
It does seem to very redundant after a while when people make a post out of another just rephrasing it a bit.I have seen this many of times.
I would rather just respond than take that chance.But search does work well as does the advise of other users,who know what they are talking about is wonderful,some are stingy with their skills.
Always a interesting topic you have posted this is why,I enjoy responding to you. Opinions are like butts some times,just trying to fill the void to make a penny.Other topics are sometimes hard to understand because of communication barriers .Well you know the drill or this post would have never came about. Oh by the way Good Morning phillip .Thanks again for all the informative info.

No one knows how badly I waited for the response from you...... Really the way I learn from you people makes me to post these kind of discussions. A lot of new friends send me PM to respond their discussions, asking how to earn here and stuffs like that.... So, I've created this one..But as you know the response is week.. But anyway, I really happy to see your response.....

I am feeling as if my head is in the clouds today with allergies.Even with my glasses its hard to see.But wanted to respond, and check out other friends quick.I have lots of fun here at my lot,speaking freely because, you or others cannot see me. I wish this was everybody's nature.

This is a very good post for newbies. I joined 2 weeks back and not very active in myLot. I have read few of your tips earlier in other discussions but now got lot more. I will follow having these tips in mind. Your post made me to have a look in rules of myLot and few more important information.

When I had just crossed 100 posts I found myself the next day with a rating star of 8! I really don't know for what reason I got an 8! Maybe it's because I have good friends here! But one thing I know is that after I got this rating of 8, my earnings have not been upto date. I wonder why, anyways am active again and I hope I'll earn good again!

Hi amarhits8,
Thanks for compliments. This discussion was posted some 2-3 weeks before. At that time I was very much active and got many tips from every oldies I've seen here. They too appreciated me a lot. I spend 3-4 hours a day and in three weeks, I reached my min payout here. Its really we are earning here with funs.
My advise to you is to post quality discussions and respones and get the attraction of many people. Gain more friends and you will earn more.

Ok I am new too, What does the ranking mean? What does the number in the parenthesis mean? Do they give you better earnings? How do you get them higher? These are all questions that I am sure if I looked deep enough I can find the answers, but it is so much easier sometimes to just post them and wait for a response. Thanks for the imformation on being new. Its helpful to have people willing to share their experiences, then you don't feel like you are the only one! Have a Blessed Day :-)

Welcome to Mylot. The star is the reputation which is given from the ratings by users who responds to your discussions and responses. The interest rankings is the active part of you with your responses on a particular interest.
Starting a new discussion is easy but you need responses and you must comment on them to earn more from that. Your discussion should be hot w.r.t the active role of your comments..
The number inside the parenthesis is the number of responses you have posted to other people discussions. Your responses must be of good quality with quantity. You must post responses keeping in mind to get the best response for the particular discussion. The number of valuable responses you post will make your earnings more.
