I had one of my wisdom teeth extracted 8 weeks ago. After that my lower lip, lower chin and lower teeth were completed numb! What an experience. The doctor did not tell me that after the operation, my inferior alveolar nerve could be damaged. That made me really unhappy. Good news is that after 8 weeks, I regained almost 85% of sensations in those areas. There is light at the end of the tunnel. To those who have had their nerves damaged, do not feel like there is no hope. It is horrible, but everything will be alright. Let us share the experience -
