Paypal pros and cons

Paypal is the most popular online payment method. I want to create an account over there, but before joining I want much more about paypal. So please tell me some pros and cons and your expierience about paypal. And does paypal allows transactions from ptc sites.

I am glad that I have an acount with paypal. I have been with them for about 10 years. I had a store and it was the best way to put my merchandise through. There was a problem with someone getting into my account (very early) and they were ok with fixing things. My bank ended up handling most of it. But they (paypal) have really beefed up their security and I feel very safe there. I would go for it if I were you!
