Are car alarms really needed?

if you buy a really expensive car that is worth over 10k why not get it a gd alarm that w if someone touches it it will go off and you know that it is quite safe ok its not impossible to steal but it will keep it away fro the amateur thieves that dont know what they are doing an would make me feel safe about my car

yes i do have a car alarm in my car, well i don't think it is of much use though. i have turned my car alarm off because when ever someone even keeps a hand on my car it would start blowing, and disturb the whole society so i decided to turn it off because i found it of no use.

Hello friend, Yes,it is very important and useful..if not,the car company won't put it there. It is a great help to avoid carnappers and burglars ,the sensitivity of car alarm are like silent guard that whistle when car feel the force striken. And in this case,we won't be worried too much with our cars being parked at the parking lots.

Hi sunstar , congrats for your new car.I must say that you should buy a car security system coz its the only thing that can give your car a extra level of security.Also try to have a gear lock (Jam the gear lever to reverse gear and it can't be moved until its opened by its unique key) in your car coz Central locking systems can be over-rided by professional car lifters but this gear-lock can give them a pain in their ***.Coz its bolted to the car's body and its so hard that it can't be cut or removed by any hard substance. So you can buy a combine pack of Central lock and gear lock system by a good company like Autocop or iCats. Trust me,spending few thousand rupees can guarantee security of your car which cost in Lacs. Even my car was saved from being lifted by Autocop's central lock.So i wud advice to have a security system.
