Luck or Hard Work?

i bleave in smart work rathere than hard work.

Nothing beats hard work because that is what leads to our progress but a little bit of luck does help in making things a tad easier.There are many people who work very hard and diligently but you find that they are not making much progress whereas some of their colleagues who work much less zoom forward and reach the top. Whyis this so? This is due to the luck factor which is working for them and this factor is inbuilt in their system from their very birth and is what we Indians call Karma or destiny. If the person has good karma then whatever he touches will turn to gold whether he works hard or not and if his karma is bad then even if he slogs all day and for a number of years he will still be in the red.So ahrd work and good luck do go hand in hand.See our M.S. Dhoni for example. From a virtually unknown person his rise has been meteoric and today he leads the Indian cricket team to success. He is definitely a hard working man but his luck has been enormous and has helped him to reach the top in no time.

There is nothing like luck. Work hard and stay within God's favour(by obedience) and God will bless your efforts.

Ya I believe in luck. But for success in life the both are required........

i always believe in LUCK since long long time ago. But remember once my math teacher tell us this: If you depends on LUCK, adding up the alphabet(a=1,b=2 and so on..), you score 12+21+3+11=47 marks. On the other hand, if you count on hardwork, you get 8+1+18+4+23+15+18=87 marks. And to get 100marks, you need the right Attitude i.e 1+20+20+9+20+21+4+5.. Haha. Although it make some sense, i still believe in LUCK.. haha stubborn me =P

I would much rather hard work as the key to success. I don't think that we should rely on luck to get us anywhere in life because that just means that we are lacking the necessary tools that we need to get further ahead in life. If we obtain the mentality of hard work, then other opportunities would present themselves.
