After a fall of snow, few winters back, I heard the loudhailers announcing that the water supply had been disrupted. I carried buckets full of snow indoors to the bath, thinking that it would melt and leave us a good supply of water to flush the toilet. My sons were at school and my husband at work and the snow was just screaming out to be sculpted! It hadn't even begun to melt by the time they all came home. My sons were suitably impressed and my husband had a bit of a shock as he went in without looking only to find a smiling snowman watching him pee.
So, let's see your snowmen!

This is, thus far, the funniest anecdote I have read on mylot. Hey Wizzywig, you're a good mommy and a great wife. Your family is truly blessed. Keep the snowmen smiling!

I'd love to have you for a next door neighbor. I am sure there will be no dull moment the rest of my life. Snowmen and paw prints, I wish I could be as creative and as funny. Hope you can gather the family on a weekly basis at least. Your childlike fun must have an audience. Tell the children entertainment is for free.

Snow? It doesn't snow in California...
Well in the mountains it does. But I have never lived where we could just go outside the house and see snow right there in our yard.
