To my fellow mothers, I need your help! My daughter's 3rd birthday is on the 18th, and I need help planning games. Normally I would ask my mother for help and ask her to assist at the party itself...however she is not going to be there this year. The children attending are going to range from the age of 1 to 12...I am having it at a local park, we rented a grove. These are some ideas I already have: Pinata Water Balloon toss duck, duck, goose Pin the Crown on the Princess (instead of pin the tail on the donkey) Simon Says Are these games okay? Do I have enough games figured out? I need suggestions and advice...if you could please help me I would greatly appreciate it! For her first birthday I had a pinata, and we had a guy dressed as Blue from Blue's Clues come to entertain the children. Last year I had her party at Chuck E Cheese...so I really have no idea what I am doing when it comes to needing to actually plan everything on my own! I would like to thank you in advance for any and all help you can provide me!

I completely agree, you have a good line-up going and should probably stick with that, especially since you will have some younger party-goers. I have found that the smaller they are, the harder it is to hold their attention. And kids are always pretty good at finding ways of amusing themselves - a game of tag, a game of telephone - and when there is a group of them it is even better. You also figure you'll be doing presents and cake, so that will eat up some time as well. It sounds like you have a good game plan - best of luck to you, and I will wish for good weather for you! :)

That is plenty of games, they will get tired out if you do too many. And,yes these are age appropiate games.Pin the crown on the princess might be hard for that age,but you can try it. Good luck and have fun.

Looks like you have got some good planning done there.. I wouldn't add anymore, if I were you. You don't have to worry and I'm pretty sure the birthday celebration will go smooth and your daughter will have a very good time with all her friends around. I'm sure the event will be very memorable..
