Friends chat window in mylot !

I am not a huge fan of websites with embedded chat applications. It can be really intrusive when someone pops up to say something while you're in the middle of doing something else. With all the other chat clients, why include one for this page? I've found that a lot of people share this opinion, because most of my friends on facebook and myspace have turned off chat for good.

i have mixed feelings on this. On one hand, i think it would be nice, would be a good way to keep in touch with friends, direct friends you are chatting with towards discussions you think they might find interesting, and give an easier, real time way for people to keep in touch when they spend time on here (which if they are like me, can wind up being a lot of time LoL) But on the other hand, it might distract people from answering topics, or cut back on the amount of topics being posted for people to respond to, which would impact peoples earning, if that is what they are concerened with. Personally the fact that mylot pays is just an added bonus to me. I just njoy haring my opinions, veiws and experiences with others and choose to do it here since i can make a little money as well, as opposed to doing it on other sites where i would get the same satisfaction just with out a little pocket change at months end.

It would depend on the rules! It probably would end up as a giant promotion site for everyones own agenda! tdemex

Hmmm tricky one! In some ways i think it would be good. Allow you to talk with people in your friends list and get to know them better than in a discussion. Get closer as friends and then will keep up to date with each others discussions more! Although, then it will take the focuss of discussions more! While we are chatting to friends we wont be commenting, therfore wont be learning as much and most of us are here for discussions! If you want to chat, then use msn or something! And also we wont be earning money either, since no commenting! I guess we do have private messages! If you wanted to talk to someone, you can message them! Then if you get on add each other on messenger things such as msn or gtalk or exchange email adresses or something. So there are ways around this. Not sure if it would be a good idea on mylot or not
