Latest crud from The Messiah is (see it on his own website, FLAG@WHITEHOUSE.GOV) he wants people to REPORT emails & even CONVERSATIONS where they overhear anyone disagreeing with his "health care plan!" He wants links & addresses, names etc.! WAKE UP AMERICA! This dictator is right in line with (I hate to use the name, but in this case, it APPLIES) Hitler's Brownshirts! Parents, beware your own children, because the government-owned / run "schools" are TELLING them to ignore YOUR values, & that Obama is "the greatest president ever," & even if you're mentioned in another person's email (snail mail's still safe...so far....) or conversation... Obama wants to know. Now you tell me, to what use will this info go? What gives this clown the idea that this is Constitutional? What will happen to what's left of our free speech? Even replying to this post could get YOU reported! It's time to put a stop to this tyranny! Maggiepie "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"

Is this what you're talking about? There is a lot of disinformation about health insurance reform out there, spanning from control of personal finances to end of life care. These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation. Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.

Partly, yes. Couple that with the HUGE amount of disinformation we're swamped with by the government-run/owned media, the total lack of "transparency", & our constantly having to struggle to try to get out the truth, it's a subtle way of chilling speech (& just the latest attempt). The fact is, they have no business telling people to look out for we who disagree with the PTBs. As to the first nattering Kool-aid drinkers who chimed in, I can't wait to see their faces when, if this so-called "health care plan" is established, they have to put up with rationing, & a bill their grandkids won't even be able pay off. Haters. Hmph. Idiots. Enjoy the Koolaid, Democrat talking points slaves. Maggiepie "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"

I think it's a little late to be getting upset about this sort of thing now. Where were you when George W. Bush was pushing through the real deal in the form of the Patriot Act? I think a lot of people were just fine with the governmental intrusions into their privacy until their party was no longer doing the spying. Unfortunately, once you allow the kind of executive branch expansion that George W. Bush and Cheney specialised in during their terms of office, it's very hard to put that djinn back into the bottle. (A humourous note: apparently Cheney's first name violates myLot's terms of use!) But it's the classic mistake. When I do it, it's an act of heroism and patriotism, clearly necessary and for the best interests of the country -- but when YOU do it, it's another step down the road to fascism. The exact same behaviours are interpreted completely differently because you think the party affiliation matters more than the actions themselves. Nothing has really changed. You're just nervous because it's not your hand-picked guy driving the bus.

First of all, many people were in disagreement with the Patriot Act and still are. But if every problem or issue is addressed by saying "well, yeah but Bush did this or that" then isn't that just a distraction from the issue? Does not that attitude relieve Obama from any responsibility? Obama promised Hope and Change. He didn't promise to be the same as Bush. He didn't say, well I saw what Bush got away with and I hope to get away with my changes too. No. The standard to be held to Obama then is his word, his promises, his vow for transparency and for a change from politics as usual to something better. And still, a lot has changed and not much of it is hopeful. Some day, Obama will need to answer for what he is doing and has done with something other than "Bush did it first". Especially when he campaigned on the premise that he thought what Bush did was wrong.

All I have to add is, if you want to go on a long trip, and you don't want to drive yourself, then you hire the best man that has a drivers licence for most of his or her life. Now apply the same safety factor to Obama and ask your self, this man does not have a valid drivers licence to drive this country down a steep hill. What is wrong here is.............Where is his "drivers licence?" ooops .....Birth certificate. To date I have seen no Birth Certificate to prove he is leagley the driver, and if he is not legal to drive then he should be fined and charged for providing false identification, reckless driveing, swerving in and out of traffic, failure to yeild to pedistrians, running a stop sign, and turning right on red.

I would like to hear about this from an honest website, and I do not mean the official White House government website, but another that is impartial. It is not that I do not believe it, it is that there has to be proof other then "Obama would never do such a thing." or "Obama is the anti-Christ" that are both opposite points of view. Me I never liked a president or anyone who was for letting Americans support through their finances, abortion overseas, was for same gender privileges, and for punishing people for thought crimes, and also for someone whom even people of his own ethnic group who were against his policies elected because " a black or part black man" would never do that, i.e. get for his cabinet, people of extreme leftist socialist values." The trouble with electing a man like that you get the one who has the potential of being a dictator. So let common sense prevail, and let me hear from a source that is known for its honesty and is not a praise or blame Obama site.

What is he going to do? Charge me with diagreeing with the president? Voicing my opinion? The court system would laugh him out of washington. Come on. He may want to know what people are saying so he knows how to combat it in his next speak.....but he could care less who we are a individuals. He just wants to know what our arguements against it are so he counter them.

They need to know which points the opponents have found that they can inform people about. They need to construct propaganda that appears to answer those problems, fears, questions or whatever and make sure that they effectively squelch any possibility that average citizens might actually find out what this health care reform (which the president is lately calling "health insurance reform") entails.

Hi Lil. You can't see it now, but that WAS a part of it. That part's been removed. As for what he wants with the info, I can only look at his history. He & all his cohorts are used to arm-twisting, Chicago thug style politics, & have used such methods freely. Ask some of the bank managers, if you doubt me, or the people whose car dealerships have been taken from them arbitrarily, among many other examples. Given this man's radical background, I trust him no further than I can throw him...which is nowhere, as I can't lift him. Some here are unhappy with my name calling. True, I could probably have been a bit nicer, but frankly, I've had it up to my eyeballs with the mealy-mouthed leftist who have trashed good people--such as Sarah Palin--for ages, & now are calling anyone who disagrees with Obama's policies "racist." I guess I'm jut getting too damned old to suffer such fools gladly. These people only dredge up the usual Democrat playbook (which is, now, synonymous with Saul Alinsky's "Rule For Radicals"), & I frankly don't feel like bothering with such closed minds. Why waste my time, & risk carpal tunnel syndrome for such unlearned & stubborn "useful idiots," as Stalin called such people? I'll leave that to someone younger & still a tad more patient. I WOULD say that at least the person with the blue rabbit avatar makes more sense than the usual leftist, & even had one good point, which was that the annoying video was open to abuse, the way it's written. Given Obama's history, I expect abuse. I'd love to be proven incorrect, but I'm not going to hold my breath.... Maggiepie "WHERE'S THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE?"

true. They are looking for a way to sell their plan and see what people may say against it so they can counter it. But the post made it sound like they were going to collect names and address of poeple against the plan so they could send homeland security out to round them up.

Are we surprised? Not really. The idiot in chief has steamrolled over most of the Constitution already. Why would this be any different? We will have no rights when he gets done with us. That's the way he wants it. There are some here saying he is 'change'. The only change he has given us is many being unemployed while his 'stimulus package' did nothing for anyone I've talked to. We have idiots in key positions in the White House. Why is that? Because the qualified people ran the other way when they heard chief idiot's agenda. He spends money like it's water on one hand then says he 'won't spend money America doesn't have'. Um...hello? He's been a liar and a cheat from the word go. I certainly didn't vote for him. And I am very afraid of where this country is going. And I want to see the REAL birth certificate as well.

Let me be the first if there hasn't been anyone to respond to this before me. Obama can go straight to Hel*l as far as I'm concerned, is that to say we can discuss it as long as what we are saying agrees with him. Since when is that I can be told what I can say. Oh yes he is slowly taking it away from us one step at a time. And I come to wonder what this bunch in the senate has to do with helping him. Are they stupid or blind. Obama your health care plan sucks, Dugas OHIO wouldn't want you to take to much time to find me, until I no longer have any rights to freedom of speech, then I will discuss what I want with whom ever I want.

So will I, but with the knowledge of how often Obama, Reid, Pelosi, Clinton & Rodham, Frank...et al, have gone to great lengths to silence those who differ with them. And if (when?) the U.N. gets to be in charge of our people, their rule of allowing only those who agree with them to be heard...will go into effect. (Time out here for the PC crowd to point & sneer) (Okay. Back to the grownups, now) At that point, we won't even be the U.S.S.A. any more. Just part of the N.A.U. There is NO birth certificate, because Obama is NOT an American-born citizen, which disqualifies him for the presidency. However, for some reason, he is allowed to remain in office. If I were to lose my birth certificate, I am pretty sure I could call the courthouse in the county I was born in and get a new one. I would then have one to show anyone who doubted my citizenship. Obama has not done this because he was NOT born in America. Therefore, HE HAS NO BIRTH CERTIFICATE TO SHOW. I think he should be given an ultimatum. He should be told to find his birth certificate, or a legal copy of it, by the end of September, or pack his stuff and get out of the White House. Seems pretty simple to me.

Of course you're right; it is simple. All it takes to complicate things is a vociferous, lying, brainless, Obuttkissing Leftwingnut, armed with enough ignorance to fill every shelf in the Library of Congress & a Democrat talking points handbook, & a stubborn willful blindness to all logic. Yes. I learned ages ago that free speech applies only to Leftists. A good example was when I tried to post some fliers about non-profit organizations offering all sorts of help to women with unexpected pregnancies near U.T. campus (where I worked). These were perfectly innocent posters. No ripped up baby pics, no "Abortion is murder" rhetoric--just names, phone numbers & addresses which gave women real choices about their pregnancies...places which believe in life, though it never even actually said anything so "heinous" on them.... Within MINUTES they were either defaced with truly vile rhetoric, or ripped down. I put new ones up several times, thinking they'd get tired of the game. Nope. So I did one more thing. I took some permanent ink that writes on glass, & wrote a message on a nearby window (which only looked in on a dark basement--so no-one would complain), as well as a couple of other wooden sites even less likely to draw ire (this close to campus, the whole street is papered in posters of all kinds...um...except of course for the "hitlerian, anti-'choice'" kind.... Then, I made a set of 5 or 6 posters in descending sizes, & taped them up over the ink message, smallest to largest (on top). I revisited the sites later. Sure enough, every poster was gone, & someone had tried to erase & even scratch off the ink message, which read: "So! You really DON'T believe in free speech or choice, DO you?" To this day I wish I could've seen their no-doubt livid faces when confronted with the truth of their hypocrisy. Oh, & as for bumper stickers, more often these days we resort to magnetic ones, so as not to suffer damage to our bumpers from Leftist hypocrites. I'm just sayin'.... They were supposed to have taken this site down because of all the flack they got from across America. Now you're saying they've put it up again? Well, coming from this man, it wouldn't surprise me. Honestly, I rarely use the title of "President" before Barry's name. I believe the title "Comrade" is more in line with his real position on everything.

Keep passing the truth along. Some will have short memories and some have lost their memories but the word is "FASCISM" and the new so called PROGRESSIVES better known as Liberals in the politically correct crowd are pushing this dangerously close to an all out take over of our AMERICAN way of life it is really getting scary.. I believe we have to stop these "ELITIST" from taking us down to third world standards and basically controlling almost every aspect of our lives. The crowd in Washington (so called elected officials) were HIRED by the American People to Protect and Serve the needs of the country and have a responsibility to be fiscally responsible,(now there is a concept), take a look at some of those loose cannons:: dusty Harry Reid, Barbara Boxer, Diane Feinstein, tricky Chucky Schumer, the haughty John Kerry, tax cheat Charlie Wrangle, oh I almost forgot..... the Three wanta be QUEENS "" queen bee NAZI Pelosi "" almost made it HILLary and who can forget the almost queen Barney Frank, even ole' never reads a bill Henry "wax my brain" Waxman. You know the list of irresponsible, power hungry, politicians all need to be "FIRED FIRED FIRED" and even some of them put behind bars so they cannot wreak these kind of delusional Fascist ideals on the American People. Start by telling them what a lousy job they are doing and tell them NO NO NO more wild spending of our MONEY it is ours and they want it they have to be stopped. Here is a good place to start http://www.usa.gov/Contact/Elected.shtml this and their local offices call them, email them and then do it again, post on any blogs and social networks we have save what is left of our once great but not so perfect county (if we were perfect we would not need politicians right?) Wrong. That's a fabricated CERTIFICATE OF BIRTH, NOT a BIRTH CERTIFICATE. It's been examined & determined to be a forgery, using a font that didn't exist when he was born, & a form style that's also anachronistic. Further, it lists NO doctor, hospital, address, or anything else that a real BC would have. FURTHER, he's spending bushels of money to prevent not only that document, but every other official piece of paper from birth, kindergarten, high school, college, etc, on, from being seen by the public. You remember the public? The people he's supposed to serve? Simply forking over the BC, at the very least, would settle this once & for all. And why does his Grandmother in Kenya still insist she was there at his birth, IN KENYA? Oh, there's loads of evidence, but, with all this "transparency," welll...it's just kinda hard to see....
