Have you been a victim of snatching?

Yes I was before. I was riding on a jeep at that time. Sitting on the right side at the back when suddenly along the way, while the vehicle stop for a while, without knowing a young man appeared in my back without any words grabbed by sunglasses and ran away. I jumped immediately to chased the man but I've been advised some bystanders not to go with that snatchers because there had might be some of his friends waiting for someone who would chase the snatcher. I was afraid then and never to ran after the snatcher...
Any similar incidents that you could share to us????

I was never been insuch situation like that,but,i had worst experience when my ATM was hacked and withdrawn a sum of money(30thou pesos)
...I almost painted when i saw my receipt,at first i was stunned keep looking at the receipt,then,i go back to the ATM machine and made another inquiry,but still i got the same amount...i was teary eyed and my son asked me why.I called the emergency hotline and relay the problem.I was advised to report at the bank,and i did,we do all the necessary procedures but to no avail...now i close my Atm card and prefer to have a passbook,it is not as conevnient with ATM card but,i don't care...that was a real good lesson to learned

That was terrible, I am sorry. Who's the culprit on that incidents then? Did you happen to find how's that happen? I am afraid if that would might be happen also with my ATM..from now on I will never deposit big amount on my ATM anymore, I will withdraw my millions (centavos) and put it on my piggy bank...he he he he

That was a real hard time amigo,the bank was able to locate the place where it was withdrawn,we ask for the mall video since it is withdrawn from the same mall where i used to withdraw money,but there is no any suspicious character appear,and the worst thing is,ATM machine at malls don't have security camera's,but now after what had happened to me,all ATM machines in that mall were installed with security cam now
,too bad.I really cried,that was big amount,but the good thing is,the hacker didn't had the chance to withdraw again since,the hacked was made November 7,and on November 8,which is my bday,i went to the mall with my youngest son to withdraw money so,i was able to close my account before the hacker can made another withdrawal,and another good things is,30thou is the maximum withdrawal made for my account in a day and not like other ATM which is 40thou.But 30thou is still 30thou(wahhhhhhh)

I have never experienced such a thing before... and i hope i never will... if my bag gets snatched... that would mean i would lose my cell phone, i.d.'s and a lot of important work related stuff... but i do keep some money in my pants pocket just in case...
