Good day, prashanthalva! Well, there are some discussions that has the same topic such as stars. If the discussion has the same content but changed words, it can be a coincidence or just a copied one then edited a few words so it does not look exactly when compared on the original. If it is a coincidence, maybe the user who posted it forgot to use the search box above. It helps to prevent duplicate discussions. I have seen once a 'plagiarized' content of discussion. The discussion is about celebrating his 500th post and it is copied by a new user (very obvious) then someone responded on it then posted a link to the original discussion, the content is exactly the same. It is not a good habit to copy a discussion or to plagiarized because it is against the rules, we are paid for posting original content. Copied discussions receive responses more than the original not at all times and because it is subject to deletion, the original one remains. It can be converted into greater earnings only at first, but once it got deleted, it can also be a big loss. So before posting a discussion, use the search box to check if the topic you want to post already exists. Have a nice day!

Yes funny ,I posted something to this effect on a answer. It seems as if people take from others, what they have started. This is why ,I try to stick to my friends list.It makes it fair to the first poster ,not getting robbed by the second that comes up ! With the same questions, worded different. I have a problem with that. I copy nothing and ask very little unless ,I cannot find the topic already. What our for those copy hogs,they are robbing from the original something the guidelines tell us not to do.

Actually,this is another big bug in myLot,just like the abuse button abused.If the first original post is copied by someone who is not respect to copyright.If let it be without any limitations,I think that will be less and less people who is willing to post anything,just copy and give a once-over If we can't change everything at once,at least,I think myLot must have a judgment system to make a difference attitude with original and copy.If not,unfair Something muse be perfected in myLOt and then this forum will be on the up-and-up

My answer would be NO!! Actually, most of the discussions I start are my personal queries which don't match in the related discussions panel. And yes there are so many people here intended ONLY to earn by copying others' discussion titles and it is in no way good for either of them. I don't know whether myLot has some script for detection of these duplicate topics but I would suggest there should be one to protect the interests of sincere persons.
