The GREATEST thing that EVER happened to you for being a myLot member... / myLot

I have been here on myLot for over a year now. There are good experiences I have encountered like, meeting on-line friends personally, first payment received, etc. There are also some bad ones, like slow connections, late updates of earnings, post mark goes down due to some deleted discussions, etc. But what I want to hear from you are the best, the greatest, the most memorable experience, that even if myLot stops, for whatever reasons which we will never know, you will treasure it as long as you live. It never came to happen to you before and it only came when you came here at the Lot. Here is mine. [i]Most of my Lot friends for the past 12 months, have already know about the condition of my baby boy. And for the benefit of my new friends, and other myLotters, my little angel is having a sleeping problem, which we and the doctors suspected, that it is OSA (Obstructive Sleep Apnea). But just to have the test that will confirm that it is indeed OSA and for possible medication, me and my wife have no enough money to do it. Luckily, someone from myLot sends me a note, that he/she is going to help us. He/She is going to send me money to send our baby to sleep test, and for whatever the result of the test will be needing. I was in teary eyes when I first saw the message, while I was reading it. Tears of joy for my little angel. The communication still goes on as we are planning on how to get the money to me. We also have to get a rough estimate of the expenses, the hospital bills, doctors' fees, etc. But we both hope the plan will push through, for the benefit of my son. Isn't that GREAT? An ANGEL for my Little Angel...[/i] I prefer not to mention his/her name here to protect our privacy and I hope you could understand it. So what is the GREATEST thing that happened to you in myLot? It happened only when you became a member and you think it may never happened if you're not here at the Lot?

The greatest thing! Hello and congratulations on being able to get the finances you needed to help your little Angel. My prayers are with you and your family that everything will go well. The greatest thing which happened for me at mylot was being able to find a site where people are genuine and are willing to share real stories pertaining to their lives ups and downs. Just like your story, so many of the stories are very touching and it helps me to know that I'm not alone in the world even though on the personal side I am going through some very rough times. But mylot has certainly made a difference for me and I don't think that there is any amount of money that could replace the friendships and bonds that have been formed here. I believe that many of the stories here are true and coming from the heart. And I like to think of Mylot as a family instead of just a group of people that have gathered together with no specific cause. I don't believe it's by accident that this site was formed. There are some lonely and hurting people out here in the world and we need to have a place where we can all unite and come together and pray for one another if need be. If one is hurting we are all hurting. As we truly are one people under God! Wishing you and yours all the best. Happy mylot.
