I know the title of this topic is not the most informative, so I shall explain a little bit, what i meant by it.
First off, I want to apologize to the many members of mylot, who don't play World of Warcraft, as this conversation is not meant for you.
I just became curious, how many of you guys actually do play, on what servers (EU,US etc.) and on what side. And most of all - for how long have you guys been playing - as in, how many years ago did you join WoW and are you still playing?
If so, then what do you do, when you are logged in.
Do you go raiding Ulduar, Naxx ?
Do you grind gold or something alike?
Do you hassle on the Auction House?
Do you do arenas or battlegrounds?
What do you do?
I seem to have lost interest in being level 80, as I have nothing to do ingame. My guild raids pretty rarely (due to the summer), I don't do BGs, as they are just a waste of time and in another sense - its just a honor grind.
So...yeah - your turn now.

I played Wow, for 3 years now, many people say it ruins your life, but I disogree as long as you keep track of how much you play. Myself, I play on the server darlan. Pretty good server, raids go on a lot. I recommend joining a guild full with 80's and compete for top healer, tank, or dps. Find a guild that raids a lot or even make one. Also, if your realllyy bored, get a blog or website and write about WoW in your perspective. Have you ever heard of WoW hobbs? He makes lots of cash gaming and giving tips for raids and simple things. Make videos on youtube for your blog or website. Give your full insight on the game, and if you go far you might be able to earn some cash doing what you love. I know I did.

I don't play personally, but maybe you could try switching to a PVP server? Maybe get a HUGE A== group and attack like the king of something?

Done and done - my realm is a PvP server and I killed the leaders a long time ago already.
I now am leveling a hunter on Earthern Ring (EU) and quite enjoying it.
Maybe a little break from my current guild is a little what i need.

I've been playing in the US server, particularly Dark Iron for 5 years now. I normally queue up in the LFG channel for a raid or a 5-man heroic dungeon run while doing quests and dailies. I used to pvp in arenas and battlegrounds but that was a long time ago, when PvPing was still fun. I now focus on getting end game PvE raid gear so I can at least experience the end game content.

I have 2 lvl 80 characters both alliance on us pve servers. If I'm not doing heroics or raids I am grinding for gold to get my epic flying mount training. I also like to work on achievements, I think that is the best thing that blizzard has implemented into the game thus far. Especially for people that have hit 80 and are starting to get bored with the game, it gives them a new challenge.

I played for a month - the free month with purchase that is. I might pick it up again someday, but it seems unlikely. I was on the US server, playing an alliance character. A dwarf mage I think.
I mostly just went around questing with a couple pals of mine that played. PvP looks good, but I honestly didn't have the free time to get into the game.
