question about comments?

Do I have to make comments to those who responses to my topic? Or its just a gratitude to comment? Is it at my own will?Thanks!

On myLot we are told that in order to earn we should: 'Post quality content. For example, generate discussions that engage other users and provide insightful responses and comments to other users discussions to further the topic' http://www.mylot.com/o/faq/faq6.aspx#14 A question (discussion topic) with a series of answers (responses) is not a DISCUSSION unless there are then comments on them. That is what we earn for here
