What type of clothes line do you have?

I am asking this question just out of curiosity I guess. The house where I live at the moment has one of these stupid clotheslines that are attatched to the side of your house that you can fold down if you want. I find these types of clothes lines stupid because the lines are too close together & you can't get things dry properly in winter & also you can't fit as much on them. I know these types are good if you don't have much of a back yard as it frees up room but I prefer thre good old free-standing hills hoist because you can fit heaps more on the line & you can get things dry all year round because the normally get the sun for the majority of the day. What type of clothes line do you have & which do you prefer?

I don't have anything special at all. Just 2 pieces of clothes line strung in my backyard. I'm not sure what a hills hoist is. I live in Mexico and it doesn't take a lot to dry your clothes here, they are normally off the line in an hour or so.

The hills hoist is the free standing clothes line that has quite a few rows & you can turn it around. I wish I could get my stuff dry in winter - I could in Mackay as the climate there is similar to a cooler part of Mexico (but not that cool). Now we are getting summer temps & we are at the end of winter so I guess I don't have to worry about it again until next year :P

Thanks for the explanation, yes, I guess soon you won't have the option of clothes line, it's back to the dryer isn't it?
