Does anyone here enjoy setting off fireworks? I am a very huge pyro. And each July 4th holiday I go all out. I actually put on some shows. I spend a few grand on fireworks each year. Everyone thinks I'm crazy spending that much cash on something I'm just gonna burn away. But I love it, and I have a great rush doing it.
Here is a show I did with a buddy 2 years ago. I'll just post the first link, and if your interested you can find the other links there also.
Here is a video of the show I did 2 years ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zTfbLEwFpqY
And here is a video of my finale this year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZgzdY0s5FSw

yes i enjoy fireworks and as indian i celebrate festival dewali with fireworks. in india we celebrate dewali with more lamps (called deepams) in front of house and litting fireworks on that day ,enjoying with sweets and rangoli.
we celebrate dewali with fireworks,as it is my country's tradition and there is a epic ramayana story in past for celebrating dewali .
after god rama's vanavas(banishment) and when he defeated ravana ,comes his kingdom ayodhya, and all celebrates dewali with fireworks and from then onwards hindus in india will celebrate dewali with fireworks. other epic story is when narakasura is killed by krishna's wife ,all celebrated the event with fireworks .
all celebrations will differ from region to region in india during dewali, but the essence will be same ,to rejoice in the inner light(atman) or underlying reality of all things(brahman).
now this year obama also want to celebrate dewali in india on 5th of this november and so he is coming india for fireworks.
we indians dont mind on spending cash for fireworks. every individual in india atleast spend 500 rupees or 1000 rupees for buying fireworks.

I love to see fireworks and the best time for them is a summer evening when it is dark and not to cold. For example seeing fireworks at the end of the beach event is great fun. In my home country we have a tradition of having fireworks on 5th November because it is remember Guy Fawkes.
During my around the world trip when I was 20 to 21 years old I saw the fireworks at Darling Harbor in Sydney. Wow! One day I would love to see the fireworks on the harbor in Sydney on a New Year's Eve. Talking of New Year's Eve on 31st December 1999 I was in London for the best firework display I have ever seen. Wow! It brought in the new century and then it became 1st January 2000.
