I have had a negative self image before, as a result of constant insults since young. I tried to outgrow it many times by striving to achieve, however this thing comes back once in a while to haunt me, leaving me more depressed than ever. Anyone with this before?

I can understand how inferiority complex develops. It is the constant criticism and insults that make an individual loose his self confidence and go into a shell. But it is easy to get over it one you realise the cause and try to over come the feeling of negativity.I am sure many of us have this negative feeling in some form or the other at different stages of life, and we have to deal with it .All the best and happy mylotting

interesting topic...
It seems each person is inferior in some way.
Also it seems each person is superior in some way.
Perhaps if each person develops a certain superiority in a personally unique sense,
then no one would feel inferior ...
What do you think?
