Working from home...scam?

Hello everybody! I've been searching high and low for a legit company that will not ask you for hundred and thousands of dollars to work for them. I've been out of work for over a year now, and I started to search again, since It's impossible to find any work out there. I couldn't not believe how many legit companies are out there that you can actually work from home and actually get paid for it without you paying them. I came up with the following companies: AlpineAcess.com, LiveOps.com, WorkingSolutions.com, HirePoint.com, TeamDoubleClick.com, Arise.com, WestatHome.com, ConverguysWorkatHome.com, VIPDesk.com...I did a lot of homework on all of them and belive it or not they are REAL and not a SCAM. Some of them will ask for a background check fee ONLY if you are hired. Does anybody out there have had any experiences with any of these companies or does anybody know of any other companies where you can actually work from home and is not a scam? What do you think? I would love to hear your opninion on this. :)

It seems you got the list from TheGadgiTech.com. All those companies are real, but it is up to us to get selected, I think. I've watched one of their videos and it said so. It your list is are something else, I have no comments.

Oh...I was nowhere. Made too many typo mistakes... (Wonder how you read it.
The site I mentioned is charging $10 one time, I think. And they give you a list of companies like Arise.com and some more.

There ARE some very legitimate and reputable work from home opportunities I could recommend to you. Two are free - you can't beat THAT, can you? - an another one costs $10/month after a free trial and pays five levels down. The first two involve marketing and giving away satellite TV systems and cell phones, accessories and plans and the third is web hosting, domains and multiple e-mail accounts which can be used for any purpose, business or personal. You may have heard of the companies - VMC Satellite, TMI Wireless and Global Domains International (GDI). PM me if you're interested.

I don't personally have any experience with any of these companies, but it is definitely a list that I will have to keep in mind.
I do, however, know that one of my best friend's sister works for West At Home. And she really enjoys it. It is not for me though because you have to have a quiet space where you work and I've got two children that are lucky to be quiet when they are asleep. Good luck in your quest to find a job.

The kids should not keep you from trying. I have seen a lot of mom's working from home. They pick their hours. Some pick the hours when their kids are asleep and start a litle part time making a little extra money. It's working well for a lot of mom's out there saving money on gas, day care, lunch...etc...you should check these out and read what others are saying. You never know. :)
