Happiness is not based on materialistic gifts. It's based on the bond between you and the one you are sharing the happiness with. They can buy you whatever, but if you don't have a meaningful relationship with them it's nothing but another gift. Happiness is a quality moment with the one you love. Happiness is seeing someone for the first time that you haven't seen in awhile. Happiness cannot be measured with what you receive.

Loving conversation. It matter more to a women than a man, but if you take the time to remember something and talk with your spouse about it, if you are truly loving each other then it will matter and the couple with will enjoy it. Also, helping a friend with issues that he/she can't deal with alone is another way. When it comes down to it people just want a second voice, to let them know that they are cared for.
"More often than not people don't take the time to listen and thats what sparks hate in humans."
