Family Guy vs American dad vs Simpsons

American Dad compared to Family Guy is complete crap. The episodes and plots are just horrible and don't deliver the same humor that family guy does. The Simpsons were good for the times they started but I think Family Guy just appeals to the audience better than any other show out there. I myself am a South Park fan but yes, like many others here, Family guy is my favorite show out there. Hopefully, it will continue to deliver that amazing plot that it always does.

The Simpsons is the best. It has clever and meaningful humor. The Family Guy seem to suggest that its a family show. However it has enough adult material to make you shut your ears. The humor and the story was plain. Season one f American Dad was funny. Season 2 hardly made one laugh. Almost every show of The Simpsons had some important point. It would also deal with people and social issues indirectly and make fun of it without being rude. The whole show is never focused on making a point. Rather its the dialogues and the scenes in between which makes the point. Besides its more energetic than any other show where characters seem dull and boring. No wonder its the most popular show and has jealous competitors.

Simpsons will always be the best for me. others are like duds.

I like the family guy as well. I think its just the relationships in the show. Stewie is the greatest character. I think every parent thinks that their baby may have these deep thoughts that he is not able to express into words... and his love - hate thing towards his mother.... too funny.

I would definitely pick family guy. I'm not too too big a fan of American Dad actually but then again I've only ever seen several episodes and they didn't impress me too much..but regardless family guy really does fit my kind of humor. I also like simpsons because it's such a classic that regardless of whether it's a good episode i'd always watch a simpsons episode if it was showing on TV..

My favorite show is the Simpsons, Family Guy is good, but Simpsons has been on TV for a long time and is a classic. I don't quite like American Dad that much, but I guess it's okay.

Family Guy wins for me. I love the humour of it and it really is escapism TV for me, when I can just sit back, relax and enjoy. I love the dynamics of the family as even though it is totally far-fetched and bizarre the acutal family themselves and the relationships are belivable. I've watched American Dad and I just don't like it. I don't find it funny and I find myself switching channels after 5 minutes. I still watch The Simpsons know and again, but after Family Guy I find it a bit too childish.
