Where do crop circles come from??

Crop circles. They are such a beautiful sight, and kind of an ingenious concept. But no one is really sure how exactly they appear where they do. Some believe they are created by people as pranks, and some believe that they are messages from intelligent extra terrestrial lifeforms. If they really are messages from aliens, who are they for?? Cows?? Cats?? Dogs?? Monkeys?? Humans?? If they are for humans, why are they the way the are? Why aren't they simpler messages? Lots of people have different views on crop circles, but we can never be sure till we find out the actual truth. what do you think about crop circles??
