I hate to use the computer and the internet nowadays due to Poor internet connectivity. I am not able to browse anything for more than an hour continuously without making complaints to my ISP or switch OFF and ON my modem.I am not able to download anything, if the file or movie is supporting the resuming and if it is more than 50-75 MB in size. Mine is 256kbps, broad band and also I am living in a major city.Even then, I am not getting connectivity.Very soon, I am going to change my ISP. Will changing the ISP affect my activities in the PTC or PTR sites as the entire IP address will also be changed, if I change the ISP.Do you have any problem like this and are you about to change the ISP?

Hi hmrk, I am so sorry that you have come across such unstable internet connection at the moment. It’s a fool’s errand most of the time to deal with the online work, if the internet service couldn’t fit in with the need of us.
Here, in my place the internet service is monopolized by the one and only provider. That’s why the monthly service charge is more expensive compared with that of the adjacent city
I have to pay US$26 every month for the 1.0 mbps speed package of broadband service, whereas my son just has to pay US$16 only, but with higher speed. That is 2.0 mbps. I envy him having the very much faster speed of connection.
I still would encounter the on and of service sometimes. Though the break off service is a short while within 10 to 20 minutes, it still would bring great inconvenient to me. I hope there is another ISP in my place soon. I believe only having benign competition, the ISP would then improve their service to detain the customers. I definitely will shift to the another ISP with lower subscription and faster speed as well as good service too
Happy posting

I am really wondering how your service providers are providing such a speed of 2Mbps for just $16.00 in your country. In our country, we are paying about $18.00-$20.00 per month for the speed of 256kbps. That too for the poor service.Though there are lot of of competitors here, the monthly bill is going on increasing. We are ready to pay this amount happily if their service is good. But the case is no so.We have to call them very often for repairing and maintenance works. The mobile internet service seems better in our area. But it is very much costlier than this. Anyway, I will soon change the service provider. Thanks for sharing your opinion here.

It's really much cheap for the speed you are getting. Here we are paying about $20.00 for the speed of 256kbps.Even then, the service is not good for about 4 months. Most of the time I am not able to open mylot and even if I am able to open, I may not be able to navigate between the pages.I am not able to submit the posts easily. For the above reasons, I am going to change my service provider. But the rental will be still more for me, if I change the ISP. But no other go , apart from this. Thanks for your response.

Hey,
No I actually don't think that I am likely to change my Internet Service Provider, because we are actually locked in a contract, so it isn't that good if we were to leave, we would have to pay some extra fees, plus we have a great plan. Make sure you have a good day, God bless and Happy Lotting!!
