Mobile phone, as a more and more important communication tool in modern life has become indispensable in people's life and work. Will your mobile phone be availble 24 hours? what is the reason for keeping it on, for work or for him/her? Will the mobile phone affect your sleep?

My phone is always on. I am worry that if I switch it off, people will not be able to contact me in case of any emergency, especially now that I am living away from my family.
There's not many people who has my phone number anyway and if I don't want to be interrupted I won't answer calls from my friends, they will have to sms me first and then when I read that it is not important then I will pretend that I am sleeping.

Yeah lcainiao, mobile phone is really an important communicated device for me. It's also an precious device for me to jot down all those important matters the add note area under the organizer feature for further reference.
There are a long list of important phone numbers as well. Other than that, I have save some precious images of my loved ones in it. It's the alarm clock to wake me up as well when going vacation or having other important occasions.
For the sake of saving the lifespan of it I will switch off my mobile before going to sleep. The alarm will work as usual even the mobile phone is switched off
Happy posting

No, I don't leave my phone all the time. I'm not such an important personage that I need to be reached at all times so I can enjoy my privacy sometimes. The less you have your phone on the less time you'll need to spend charging the battery too...that's a real plus for me because I'm one who often forgets to charge my phone!

No my phone is not on all day. I usually shut it off once I have talked to everyone for the night- maybe about 12:30 or 1 in the morning. I then put it on the next day at about 10 or 11 in the morning. I don't like interuptions when I'm sleeping also I dislike phones very much so that is part of the reason too.
