Now obviously there is no single age that is perfect for everybody. However, in general, what do you feel is a reasonable age to get married? Is it better to get married too young than too old? Is it always okay for a couple to get married if they're in love?

that's a difficult question since you already have the answer. :] we can never tell if you're getting married too young or too old because what really matters is how the couple thinks as a couple. if they are mature and can very well take care of themselves and know their responsibilities, then any couple can get married whatever age they are. as for your last question, love is one reason why you should marry but it is not enough reason because as i have mentioned, there are responsibilities and both of them should know that.

I like your answer :) I feel the same way. I suppose that each couple knows when they're ready to get married. However, there is something a little unsettling about the idea of two 18 year old teenagers getting married. Maybe it is just me.

well, it is a little unsettling if a couple younger than you or is still in their teens is going to get married. let's just hope that they know what they are doing and won't regret it. what's important is that they do know what they are doing and are getting married for the right reasons.

There is no definite age when to get married. Ideally, couples get married when they are emotionally, financially and spiritually ready to start a family. They should be mature enough and stable as individual so they can help each other raise their family and provide them good future. It's better that you have accomplished everything at very young age: finish school, getting a job, finding a good partner as well so you can marry young and have kids. At this way, you can see them grow, and they will be your gifts to your parents. These are some advantages for young married couples. On the other hand, marrying at older age seems that you have enjoyed the life of being single. And if you already have a partner you'll get to know each other earlier before getting married. It is okay for a couple to get married if they're in love, but not as always.

In India, the legal minimum age for marriage for a female is 18 years and for the male it is 21 years. I think any age above that is a good age to get married. If you talk of the sensible age for marriage, then I guess it is when both partners feel that they can support themselves financially, emotionally and mentally and are ready to live together as spouses, but then I guess, it'd still have to be above the legal age for marriage in a geography.

Personally, I don't think that there really is a good age to get married. I think that it really depends on the individual in question. I believe that it's up to him or her to chose whether or not they want to get married and, if so, when. Everyone is different and that's why I don't really think that there is a good age and that it depends on the individual.

There is no specific age to get married. When two adults are planning to get married, they must not be blinded by love because a marriage isn't something that is only based on love. It is a long term commitment and a couple who's planning to get married must not only believe they're in love, but also they must be prepared to commit themselves and hold the responsibilities as husband and wife.

Well like you said there is no single age to get married for the mere fact it's based on the maturity level between both partners in the relationship. But personally I think a good age to get married is between late 20's early 30's. It's when you get out of your party mode and into real life and you begin to think about settling down. I think any earlier than that, mostly the male party wants to still have the single life and go out and party and doesn't want to be tied down into one single relationship unless the man is a true gentleman and has his eyes set on his goals, and the finer things in life. And as for women, some women plan their wedding from a very small age. It's just like a dream for them. You know the perfect wedding.
