I was thinking about Michael Vick being reinstated by the NFL recently. Then I was thinking about his dog fighting ring and about the young people who follow professional sports. I understand that people make mistakes. But should professional athletes be held to a higher standard than the common man? Should professional athletes who get convicted of felonies be allowed back into professional sports?

I think Michael Vick should be forced to be malnourished, caged, and menaced into fighting against other people. I mean, I know football is kind of scary, but he deserves to go through the torture he put those dogs through.
How in the world can someone keep him on a contract for a career? Professionaly atletes who are convicted should not be back into professional sports; they should be held to higher standards, especially with so many children looking up to them.
