make a bed look antique

i have a bed that is dark wood. i want to make it look antique. how?

try to oxidize it somehow, or maybe staining it would help. I would have to see it to be able to answer better, but giving the apperance of age could a challenege depending on the shape of it

Store it in the attic for 25 years. Dark wood or not, it will be Antique the next time u use it :P
