I think being under age is not be under 14, It should be under 18. Well i agree with you that there should be some sort of limitations.
Different ages has different needs i guess, and the adult population in general wouldn't like some kid buzzing around the site.

So true about what you said. I was on facebook today playing Uno when this young boy approach me and ask where I lived and age. It was so uncomfortable I just left the game. These kids be setting their self up to get harrassed or stalked. The majority of the people I have on my page are relatives, or friends I know.

Yes,and if a child molester tried to get info out of one of this kids there could be a really big problem. They should require you to have a drivers license or passport for you to sign up

I think it's impossible to control people from joining these sites. People can just join and make up their own birthdays. Anyway, for me it's a good site. I'm able to keep in touch with friends that I haven't seen for a long time.

The kids lie about there age to get on Myspace. I wonder could they find away to fix it where a parent would have to call and verify the child age. O yea I forgot some of those kids parents would probably lie for there child. So its not a win win situation. To bad they can't see them when they are filling out to join. It would make a big difference. Happy mylotting.........

I think constantly updating what you're doing and taking all the quizzes and sending people presents and smileys and whatever else is the over-rated part. I do use the site to post pics and keep in touch with family and friends. But I don't search the site for people I used to know or accept every single friend request that comes my way.
I think MySpace is much worse than Facebook, what with all the decorating and designing you can do on the page. And I really hated the fact that you used to be able to view other people's pages without them being a friend, or vice versa. A girlfriend of mine told me my ex was checking out my MySpace page to keep up with what I was doing, and had freely admitted it to her. That freaked me out and I haven't logged onto MySpace since.
Regarding an age limit, I think maybe 16 would be okay. The younger kids are the ones that spend the most time on these sites, talking to their friends and designing those pages and adding all their bio info and everything. My 15-year-old neice is always chatting with someone anytime I see her, she MySpaces from her cell phone sometimes! I personally think that if parents are paying attention to what their kids are doing online, then they won't have to worry, because they will know who their kids are chatting with and will question those they don't, and they can monitor the content that their kids are adding.
