In my definition, RAM (Random Access Memory) is collecting the information from every process in your computer. It can be read or write in unstructured address, this can be named of brain with limited size. ROM (Read Only Memory) is for programmable the computer from begin until end, this is can be loaded just for first time you turn on the computer. If you have empty data or corrupted data in ROM, your computer cannot work and don't hear a beep sound.

RAM is Random Access Memory. It is a volatile type of memory that needs electricity to flow to retain information. It is the type of memory that computers use to process programs.
ROM is Read Only Memory. Essentially, the information stored in it is permanent and is retained even if the power is cut.
RAM is of two types: Static and dynamic and can be further classified.
ROM can be classified as, PROM (Programmable ROM), EPROM (Erasable Programmable ROM), EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable ROM).
