who is your role model

my rolemodel is my grandfather. bcoz,he was on his own from the age of 15 and managed to make a good living and provided education to all his children,which was quite rare at that time in india. and he inculcated discipline in everyone.

I have several, but the one on my top of my list is: Jim Morrison. Now, I don't like his leather pants, but I loved how he lived a very uncensored life, or attempted to. I loved his poetry, and his standing up to the networks when it came to cleaning up his language. There is so much more to love about him, his ability to hypnotize people through his music, his stage show, his mystery....

Sunil, my role model or ideal is my Sadguru, Sri Sri Shyamcharan Lahiri more popularly known as Lahiri Mahasaya. If you have read Paramahansa Yogananda`s "Autobiography of a Yogi" you will get details of his life and if you want to know more then you can read the book"Puran Purush", a biography on him written by his grandson Sri Sri Satyacharan Lahiri. What can i say about my sadguru? I am too low a creature to even take his name. I however consider it my great good fortune to have been initiated by his great grandson Sri Shibendu Lahiri, son of Sri Satyacharan Lahiri, in the technique of Kriya Yoga, which will take me to the goal of Self Realisation.I can write thousands of pages on my Sadguru but as i told you i am not a worthy person to even write his name.

Hi Sunil....... For me my role model is my dear dad..............!!! He is the one who has taught me to live life and be successful in every task.Many people come in our lives and they leave a unique trait in our life..........i have my dad,my class teacher and my love.........who have made a different me........dad taught me to be successful,my mam taught me never to lose hope and my love taught me to live happily.And all these when clubbed together................taught to me to live,enjoying every bit and becoming successful !!!
