Hello myLotters!!
Well, once again, out of curiosity I am here to ask from you whether you cook by yourself or you have a cook or you prefer canned food??!
Here in our country, most of the people either have maids/cook, or they themselves prepare the food. What is it in your case??

I prepare most of my food, but also have some packaged items. I eat a vegan diet, so whenever I happen upon a pack of vegan chocolate chip cookies or vegan noodles, I can not resist.
One day, if I ever had money, rather than hiring a cook, I would subscribe to raw vegan cooking classes, that way I can always cook for myself.

I am also a vegetarian and fond of eating choco cookies!! Slurp! Hey, why don't you watch some videos available, they are much descriptive and you see the same things, be it a LIVE class or a virtual one. Thanks for your response!

I cook for myself, though I do eat plenty of canned/packaged food too. It's too time consuming to prepare something from scratch every meal and actually canned vegetables can be very nutritious and tasty. I've never had a cook...that's definitely something only the rich have in the USA! (Unless you count my mom as a cook, I guess; she certainly kept me well-fed while I was growing up.)

Hmm, cooking does take time and one can't afford it with a hectic schedule. Well said, Mom's the BEST cook!! Cheers!

I live in the U.S. and either I cook or my husband does. Having a maid/cook is something most people in my country can't afford so we either cook or buy food that is already cooked. We go out to eat about once a week but we very seldom eat anything that comes in a can.

That is indeed healthy, not eating packaged food! And this trend has not yet hit this country. Lol, but the day these "cans" will be available people would blindly prefer eating them! Anyways, thanks for your response!

My mother cook our own food..I too know to cook my food alone without depending on anybody..when I go out in the downtown i order take out food from my favorite restaurant..This is how we eat our family meals from home cook food to take out food..I rarely cook food from canned good..they have a lot of artificial preservatives which are not good to the body..my family cook food which are from fresh meat, fresh fish, eggs, fresh pick vegetables and seasonal fruits. This way to ensure we are eating only nutritious food..

I love to cook! If I have the time to cook a great meal I do! I'm a big fan of food network and cooking shows so I usually like to make meals that they present in their show. If I don't have the time I just open a can mushroom soup add a few dried mushroom and serve or in a pan saute garlic, okra, mushroom in oyster sauce and then serve.
