China is a large country hosting 56 nationalities. Many of these nationalities have their own language. But most of them can speak Mandarin Chinese(or Pu tong hua, which is the common speech based on Beijing pronunciation). That is to say, the predominant language is Mandarin Chinese.

Chinese language is a little bit difficult for non-Chinese people to learn. I know a lot of foreigners who are learning Chinese. My 70-year-old American teacher is also learning Chinese. They really have a lot of fun. You'd better find a Chinese teacher in India and let him/her teach you face-to-face. That would be better. On Youtube there are a lot of vids teaching Chinese. You can have a view before you Chinese courses.
As to the good places here, I suggest you to visit Hainan,Yunnan,Shanghai. These places are near to India. Travelling far away in China will not be so comfortable. I think India may have the same problem. There are too many people!

LOL~ Actually not everyone here knows Kungfu.
In China, Kungfu is very popular. We all like watch Kungfu movies, Kungfu series and Kongfu novels very much. It's very exciting.
When I was very young, my parents ever sent me to a school to learn some basic skills of Kungfu. But I quit at last.My family is not a traditional "Kungfu family". There are actually a lot of families whose parents sending their children to Kongfu School when the children are very young. These children will study in Kongfu school instead of attending Primary School, Middle School or University. After graduation they may choose to join the army,be a Securities Custody Clerk , be professtional athletes or be actors and actress. In the army, one of soldiers' main task is practicing Kungfu. There are a lot of Kongfu schools in China.
For our common people, when people are getting older, Taichi is what people choose to practise in order to keep healthy.
Some of Kongfu school students will also go back to Primary Schools,Middle Schools and Universities to be students or teachers.
When we are having PE class, Kungfu is one of our subjects. We learn it for 1 or 2 terms. Kungfu can protect us sometime when we face bad guys.
I hope my answer can be helpful.
